Hey pastors, you may want to think strategically about where your instrumentalists are placed on stage as you pray at the end of your sermon. Otherwise this (which is me) could be you. – at South Carolina, USA
Join me for a “Footsteps of Paul” tour March ‘27. We will tour biblical sites in Athens, Ephesus, Patmos, Corinth, Thessaloniki, and Berea. We will also visit tourist favorites Mykonos and Santorini as part of a 3-night cruise. $5650 per person (double occupancy).
As a frequent parliamentarian for the SC Baptist Convention, I understand the need for the "Call for Question." But it is often used as a strategy to AVOID (rather than end) debate, including what just happened at #sbc26. @bartbarber and @bubbasims can we limit this?
Hey @MKaminskiMusic what’s the story behind you playing “Magic Carpet Ride” for Varsho?

Gambling is never a net positive. It was not created to produce favorable outcomes for individuals, families or society.
Sure it can deliver short term thrills and revenue, but it is designed for you to lose; your resources, your respect and your relationships. It serves as a gateway to greater bondage and graver consequences. It is a highway to irreparable harm.
Don’t be surprised when it works.
Hey @Mickeyplyler, @SamuelGoodroe and I played your Aunt Vickie Sue in pickleball this morning in Sky Valley. She said you talk trash, but that she can wear you out!
Any @Braves fans interested in tickets for Saturday nights game? I have two tickets (in section 422) and a parking pass (in Lot E43) for sale at a great price.
Let’s be clear about @ClemsonMBB. Great season. Great players. Great coach. I don’t want to hear “Brownell can’t coach in the tournament,” b/c he coached great in the Elite 8 run last year. Dillon’s injury (at a terrible time) proved fatal, but the best is yet to come. Go Tigers!
Celebrating this morning that @UticaBaptist exceeded our goal of $75k to support our @IMB_SBC missionaries through the #LottieMoon Christmas Offering. So far, our people have given $80,276!

You know who always shows up before FEMA in natural disasters? The Southern Baptist Convention. They always show up with chainsaws and tractors and bottles of water and food and prayer and hope. Every. Single. Time. They beat the gov’t after Katrina, Michael, and now Helene.
It makes me angry to see someone abuse a position of authority so badly and treat another human - made in God’s image - with such disrespect. And to think that it was multiple police officers, and none of them put an end to it. What if they didn’t have body cameras?
I’m not sure which one is more shocking as a pastor with 11+ years at the same church: seeing kids I met as 8th graders now getting married, or seeing kids I met as 4-year-olds now getting drivers licenses.
I don’t expect @MeetThePress to be neutral, but watching @kwelkernbc’s demeanor and aggressiveness change depending on whether she’s talking to a Democrat or a Republican has become downright comical.
Driving home from a mission trip in Memphis, listening to @QualkTalk on the @1055TheROAR app, and I know @kellygramlich will be pleased that I stopped for lunch at #Whataburger
Just listened to @LarryWilliamsTI interview with Tommy West (who coached during my years at Clemson). Other than the Brent Venables interview several yrs ago, this was my favorite. Great listen!
