SCB3

New Jerusalem. Slight curvature damage. In Revelation 21:16 the New Jerusalem is described as laid out “foursquare” (a square base), with its length, width, and height all equal to 12,000 stadia. A stadion (or stade) is an ancient Greek unit of roughly 607 feet. That converts to about 1,380 miles on each side. The driving distance from Blaine, WA (right at the U.S.–Canada border) to Tijuana is listed as approximately 1,383 miles, which matches the biblical figure extremely closely. Earth’s equatorial diameter is roughly 7,926 miles. The New Jerusalem is described as a perfect cube ~1,380 miles on every side (length = width = height). That makes each edge of the cube roughly 17–18% of earth’s diameter. Earth curvature over 1,380 miles = ∼240 miles of drop. Good luck with laying that flat. #BiblicalCosmology
