I never got to see my first born when she was a baby ,I was always gone . I woke up at the crack of dawn and came back at night . When I was free I was always nursing a hungover . 4 years went by real quick and very soon she was in school. When my second born came it was during my days of selling chicken and business was really good . The day I brought him home I decided to stay a month or two I had a good amount in my bank . That was the first time I really slowed down . I watched him every day , helped my daughter with her homework and took her to school in the morning. I remember thinking to myself ,this is the life I want . I never looked back . Money to me means freedom ,freedom to be home on a random Wednesday. Freedom from hating on a day just because it's at the beginning of the week . People look at that end of year vacation to Dubai with iphones and big cars and forget a whole year of life passed you by. No man looks back at his youth and remembers how hard he worked on a particular day .They all remember the unlived life ,money or no money..

There is a baby formula company that came to Africa and gave breastfeeding mothers "free" powder milk for their children. The mothers were told how good the milk was for their children, they all fed their kids the milk . When their bodies realized the children were not suckling, they shut down milk production. The mothers went back for more free milk now with no option and found out quick how expensive the milk was . Thousands of children died from malnutrition and more from contamination as they mixed the formulas with unclean water , hundreds of thousands of children died . That compony is currently worth 248 billion dollars and it's called Nestle. Studies have shown that short form video formats provided by social media are causing reduction in attention spans of young children . Most teachers are reporting that kids are unable to sit still for a 20 min lesson. Meanwhile the platforms are making billions of dollars . What does nestle and social media have in common ? They all started off as free untill the bill arrived.

I asked someone what is the difference between Ruto's Regime and Uhuru's Regime. She said: β€œIf I want to go to Mombasa and use the SGR, I’m grateful to Uhuru. When I use the Nairobi Expressway and see how quickly I get to my destination without sitting in tiresome traffic, I say, β€˜God bless Uhuru.’ Then I asked, β€œWhat about Ruto?” She paused and said: β€œEvery month, I look at my payslip and see money being deducted for this thing called Affordable Housing. I resent Ruto. Those houses are not even affordable to the poor. They will mostly be bought by the rich. My money is being used to benefit people who are already better off. And whenever I walk past Parliament, I get a painful dΓ©jΓ  vu. I remember how young people’s lives were lost, and my heart skips a beat. That is why, when the time comes, I must make the right decision.”

Every Kenyan parent considering their children's higher education needs to know this: If your child pursues higher education in a different country, Kenya will never stop punishing your child for it. Kenya will never allow your child to work in the area of their training. I've seen someone with a MA in Kiswahili from University of Dar, no less, being told she can never get a TSC number. That's Kenya. So yes, you'll hear civil servants praising foreign education as "world class," and harassing Kenyan universities to uphold the standards of Oxford, but they will punish you for daring to go there yourselves and get that education. You're a nobody, you're just a native. You're not supposed to have ambitions beyond what DO John Ainsworth imagined for you. The way the settlers couldn't stand the idea of Africans going to school, is the same way civil servants see education in Kenya. They decide what is good for you. If bad imitations of Norwegian education are what they think you need, that's exactly what you'll get. So yes, they are going to defund Kenyan public universities and tell you to go to Str-thmore instead, but dare you take that seriously and seek education in TZ, Rwanda or Uganda, let alone Europe or America. You will return to grief and lamentation. Doors will be shut, one after another. You will come back with a PhD in engineering and the best you can do is motivational speaking. This is not different from colonial days. In "Not yet Uhuru," Jaramogi says that British colonial officers used to arrest Kenyans at the port and jail them if they dared to pursue scholarships in Eastern Europe. Meanwhile the settlers were fighting tooth and nail for Royal Technical College to remain a TVET and never become a university, let alone one for Africans to attend. But I'm saying higher education abroad: even if you try here, you will get grief. Matiang'i was particularly vicious about it. He said that if you don't get a C+ in KCSE, you should never, ever, see a university classroom, even if you do 10 diplomas and have work experience. He threatened to withdraw the degrees of those who took the long route. Our education problem isn't curriculum. It's not the job market. It's British snobbery and class consciousness. It's hostility to knowledge. Our politicians and civil servants are steeped in the British "gentleman" model of public education, which was brought here. And that model hates both skills and knowledge. Period. That mindset prefers fantasies like "the advantages and disadvantages of British colonialism in Africa." And this anti-intellectualism makes going to school even more desirable because the more we are denied education, the more we sacrifice in our savings and resources to get it. Human beings cannot live without understanding their environment. But for seeking that knowledge, you will be punished. Severely. @scherargei will write a bill reducing medical workers to hospital butlers and elevating police officers to medical practitioners. @NoCountryHere ametupatia suluhisho.

Daniel arap Moi murdered Hezekiah Oyugi Ogango that is the history many people in power would rather Kenyans forget. And Rigathi Gachagua knows that history. He served as a DO under Moi and understands better than most how power operated in those days. So when today's powerful men start believing they are untouchable, they should remember one thing: Power has no permanent owners. The people you think will protect you forever can turn against you tomorrow. The system you use against others can eventually come for you.

This is green waste being discharged into the River Tana in Machakos. I know many people will argue that this green waste has already been treated and is not harmful to the environment. My point is: do you mean there is no other place where they can discharge it other than into our rivers? NEMA, we need answers.

The problem with old people in power is that the way things were for them is how things must continue to be .They can't imagine another way through this life . Watu kama wenye wako TSc can't believe there are teachers on social media smiling and having fun with students . Wanataka walimu wanakaa kama wako na constipation. They are threatening this teachers . The old dogs up the chain can't believe that somebody can teach without being feared by students . They can't believe somebody can get joy from teaching for the peanuts they pay them . The retirement from any position of leadership must be 55 years , wacha tuweke vijana hizo positions buana.

Never fight or argue with people whose God can forgive them for committing murder.
David impregnated somebody's wife and then killed him; god forgave him and even made the child conceived out of that union the King of Israel. Adam just ate an ordinary apple; he has never been forgiven to date.

BREAKING NEWS πŸ›‘ Two people have been shot and wounded in Gem Ramula, Siaya County by GSU following a second attempt by Shanta Gold to do illegal displacement. It's reported that the GSU officers are breaking into homesteads and forcefully evicting villagers from their ancestral lands despite a court order stopping the eviction. And Luo leaders are busy shouting Tutam nonsense. Of what benefit is being in government if you can’t have that same government stop maiming and killing your people? Wakina Oburu should be ashamed of themselves.

This is partly true, but not entirely. Irungu Kang'ata and Wamatangi have been building and equipping hospitals as governors in Murang'a and Kiambu counties. In Luo Nyanza, we keep cheering Orengo and Wanga for politicking, useless activism and bravado, and abusing abusing each other 24/7. Ten years from now, Kiambu and Murang'a will have better schools, markets, roads and hospitals, then we say it's because of Kikuyu privilege. How many rallies have Orengo attended in 2026 compared to Wamatangi? Secondly, we used to say Ndindi Nyoro used his position as the chair of budget committee in parliament to unfairly develop Kiharu. Nearly two years later since he was replaced with Atandi, name any meaningful development Atandi has done in Alego Usongo apart from hiring goons, looking down upon residents, and moving from one brothel to another with women with loose morals. – at Nairobi, Kenya
When we say Mt Kenya privilege exists because of government goodwill as we beg for equitable development, please travel around the country and look at the state of infrastructure from roads to schools on other parts of the country. Central is developmentally at least 50 years ahead of most regions in Kenya.

If Kenyans voted based on someone’s achievements, President Kibaki would have easily won a second term in 2007. The economy was doing well, he’d introduced free primary education, money was in circulation, and so on. But the guy still lost. Why? Because a presidential election is about more than what you’ve done, it’s about emotions. When election time comes, people stop caring about your track record; your scorecard becomes obsolete. It’s even ironic that Kibaki is now used as the yardstick for a good presidency, yet at the time he was seen as a villain. It took Uhuru’s presidency for Kenyans to finally realize Kibaki was actually a good president.

This lady (Hon. Wanjiku Muhia) voted YES for the Housing Levy, SHA, Draconian University Funding and the 2024 Finance Bill; attacked GenZs on the floor of parliament as they were being k!lled asking where they wanted Kasongo to get money from if they protested against the Finance Bill. Today, she is a Gitungati. One of the very many reasons as to why we continue saying that if Murima is not careful, we are going to have another round of garbage in parliament. Or worse off...
