#ColorectalCancer is rising in younger adults. That's why average-risk adults should start screening at 45. Don't wait!
If you have a higher risk, like a family history or genetic syndrome, or signs and symptoms talk to your doctor about screening even earlier!

I am extremely grateful to @MaimoHealth for the great IM residency experience in the past 2.5 years. I am honored and humbled to announce that I will be starting a new chapter at home as the GI fellow at Maimonides.
Due credit to my family, friends and mentors who supported me.
Thank you #ACG2024 for giving me the opportunity to present my work and learn from all the great minds. I met my mentors from different institutions and connected with some old friends which made the experience complete. I will be honest that I was also excited about this photo.

Extremely happy I was able to attend #GMFH2024 and connect with mentors. Good to see how much we are progressing in understanding the effect of gut microbiome on different health parameters. Excited to see how microbiome based therapy will influence management. @AGA_Gastro
March is colorectal cancer prevention month. Remember, 45 is the age to start screening if you are at an 'average risk'. Please discuss any risk factors with your PCP that might warrant an earlier screening. Let's also not forget the value of fiber:
