A Tennessee school board just banned MAUS, a graphic novel by Art Spiegelman, for “disturbing images.”
The book is about the Holocaust.
If it’s not disturbing, it’s not accurate.
We have to teach the Holocaust in its full horror, otherwise we’re not really teaching it.
