I hate Claremont X-men today

its been said before but everytime you read cape comics discourse on here that amounts to “why did they change something from how it used to be” you realize that a lot of comics we consider seminal like miller’s daredevil/batman or even claremont x-men would be hated today lol

It's more on the middling side and brought down by Claremont's penchant to overwrite but I can't pass up a simpsons reference opportunity

i rly think people need to learn how to just enjoy a movie and move on with your life bc primetime should not have a fandom. like none of you should be yumeshipping with chris hansen or having chris hansen itabags and all of that shit like sometimes we should let movies be movies

We really do need to inform the children that reading a non-preferred text will not kill them. Hatchet was boring. So what? It's only 41k words. You will live. This is not a thing to be butthurt about *as an adult.*

The first novel I ever loved was the survival classic Hatchet, but recently I’ve learned that a *lot* of women despise this book, and see it is as something they were forced to read in school to entice the idiot illiterate boys in their English class. I dove into that tension!

In 20 years there won't be Americans, all citizens of the great empire of Ohio will have their needs met

This is how Americans will be talking about paved roads, bridges, and insulin in 20 years.

Better than most major characters, scientists are still trying to figure out why people read Wonder Woman

The reaction to IDW Transformers and Roberts' stuff in particular was my first interaction with terminal fandomite brain worms. Saw one guy who had to spend at least 200 dollars on commissions of JG1 Saber beating up the idw one.

1. Appreciate the (?) 2. Women with daddy issues have disposable income too, Hasbro aren’t fussy 3. Please buy my books (pinned tweet) before I’m hounded out of public life 4. Ohhh so the (?) was questioning my masculinity, not my unpleasantness

getting rid of the marriage and reducing the amount of mutants were good calls from Quesada but noone wants to get rid of his actual bad mandate, "no more stogies"

Meet Nikolai! 🐆 Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s rare Amur leopard cub has officially made his public debut alongside his mom, Marta. Nikolai is the first Amur leopard born at any Ohio zoo. His arrival marks a milestone for one of the world’s most critically endangered big cats.
