Some wild notes: Take away a 1995 forfeit by Purdue and this is Valparaiso's first win over the Boilermakers since 1965. Valpo entered at 2-16 against the Boilers all-time. It is Valpo's first win over a Big Ten team since 2004. Purdue is 0-2 for the first time since 1976.
