In case you need a break from all the awfulness, here's one of @sainsburys most bonkers substitutions, delivered to me today😂. Equally bonkers was when I asked if I could just keep one tomato (as per order) I was told no. Either keep the lot or they all have to go back!🤦‍♀️😂

The Scottish IPC team listened… they responded… but will they actually act? Only time will tell ⏰ The depressing thing is that this is only the very tip of the iceberg in terms of the issues with their new IPC guidance…
Following my post below, I decided to write to the body responsible, pointing out that it is incorrect to say that fit-tested unvalved FFP3 face masks do not filter air expelled by the wearer so should never be worn by an infectious person. I have just had a response! 🥳🧵

The Global Framework for Action on Healthy Indoor Air is launched this evening in New York during UN Climate Change Week. It's been a privilege, & a fascinating (& a learning) experience, to be involved in developing it as one of 200+ Commissioners from 40 countries 🧵

The challenge now is to translate a plan on paper into action in the real world - unfortunately often lost in translation - by developing country-level blueprints...If you'd like to know more, please DM

You couldn't make it up. But those responsible for infection prevention and control in Scotland's healthcare settings clearly can 🤦‍♀️

Oh blimey. Not this again. This came up in the Covid Inquiry. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Of course respirators should be worn by infectious people - just not respirators with valves! It’s not exactly rocket science. But these IPC folks appear not to understand basic science.

I was trying to work out how to take a photo of the eclipse without actually looking at it, then noticed it - or them? - reflected through trees in the conservatory glass. Why so many? Why are they pointing in different directions in different windows🤔? I need answers! Nb no AI!

It's worth getting hold of a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filtration unit or two if affected by smoke indoors. They filter out harmful smoke particles & as a bonus also other harmful particles, airborne allergens & infections. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr59…

📢Calling CV people - when we talk about improving indoor air quality, it's usually about schools, hospitals, workplaces. But how do you keep safe from infection brought home by other family members & visitors? I'm speaking at an event soon. Examples would be really helpful 🙏

One of the grimmest political tricks of the last 15 years has been convincing the public that disabled people are a bigger economic threat than tax avoidance, private outsourcing failures, or housing costs.

Why is it that the people who claim to care passionately about our sovereignty, paint flags on roundabouts, etc, are so willing to do what powerful foreigners tell them? Why can't they see that they are the real threat to our sovereignty? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crlp…

For some reason, this Christmas card I made some years ago comes to mind. Not sure what the title should be. "The Voters' Dilemma"? "The Death of Democracy"?

Following the recommendation of the #Covidinquiry there's been explosive news from CATA about the coverup from 2020 on #PPE which still dominates guidance in the #NHS and led to the death of thousands of #HCWs Monday 13th April 6pm Register tinyurl.com/3t976nft #Covid #Health

😡How utterly sickening and unforgivable: we sacrificed our own children’s hearts to lasting damage and Long-COVID, all in service of pathetic zero-risk SarsCoV2 theatre!💔 "Even in the absence of overt cardiovascular disease, children with prior SARS-CoV-2 infection experience persistent subclinical cardiac changes and symptoms consistent with Long-COVID." internationaljournalofcardio…

Now that the stone has been lifted and wrongdoing flushed out into the daylight, will there be legal cases taken against the perpetrators? It's not enough to demonstrate wrongdoing has taken place. Those responsible surely need to face justice.
Great opportunity to hear from someone who's worked tirelessly with CATA colleagues to unpack the UK Big Covid Cover-up of its transmission mode, how it was done, by whom & what drove it. To this day the denial persists. To this day healthcare workers use the wrong facemasks 😡
