After 5 months of abnormal urine tests, i was referred to nephrology, which ordered a CT scan w/contrast to get a good look at my kidneys. The CT was scheduled for a few weeks later. The day before the CT, i get a vm about a denial from the lab—not @Aetna. 1/??

And no appeal is allowed? Try again in 60 days? That's 2026, when my deductible starts over. Not to mention that will be SEVEN MONTHS with abnormalities in my urine cultures. So cool I spend $900/month for company-subsidized insurance. 5/6

I never wanna hear Boomers bitch about #Millennials again. This morning I was at the eye surgeon and while waiting to get my parking validating an older woman was by herself in the waiting room. She had a patch over her eye and was asking “suri” what time it is…over and over 1/2

Because she wasn’t getting a response. There were probably 6 other older folks in the waiting room sitting nearby (I was standing at the desk). NOT ONE person spoke up to just give her the time…except for me. I walked over and told her before I left and she was thankful. 2/2
