Our Amazon sales dropped by 50% in a month, but it turned out to be the push we needed. For the longest time, Amazon was our biggest sales channel at @PurifitIn Our website was doing only ₹10L+/month, and honestly, we weren't pushing hard enough to change that because Amazon was working well for us. But then in November 2025, something happened, and by December our Amazon sales dropped by 50%. I feel it was a targeted review campaign against us. We had inventory sitting in warehouses and interest payments and we couldn't afford to wait. We started doing things that would help us increase our website sales. @Sam_0316 and I started daily meetings, tracking every detail and trying different things, doubling down on what worked, and keeping experimenting, and we succeeded. In January 2026, our website did ₹60+L in gross sales; 2 videos also went viral, which we made in-house, without spending a rupee on external production. We'd been trying to crack website growth for months, but the moment Amazon stopped working, we finally gave it the attention it deserved and recovered the lost Amazon sales through our website. Eventually, Amazon sales recovered, too. When things became difficult, we achieved something we'd been trying to do for months, and this incident changed how we think about sales channels. Now, we don't want to become too comfortable with any one platform again and make the same mistake again. So, we're pushing Blinkit aggressively. If you are a founder reading this, please: Never get too comfortable with one sales channel.

It’s infuriating how easy scammers can clone a real brand and trick customers. This is the third time we’ve dealt with it. They’re stealing our product photos, ads, creative, and even our name to spin up fake Shopify stores that look just like ours. Instead of building something real, they’re cashing in on our work and misleading customers in the process. Any suggestions on how to deal with them? @ganeshsonawane any thoughts?
