Wettest Spot this year in India. Surlabbi in Somwarpet Taluk, Kodagu district, has received approximately 7,300 mm of rainfall so far this year, officially making it the wettest station in India surpassing even the traditionally rain-soaked locations of Cherrapunji and Mawsynram.
