I talk/write/yell about heavy music, football and hot sauce. I write for Noizze and host The Core You Know podcast. He/Him

Joined June 2023
If you didn't know, I have a podcast where I speak to musicians about their favorite 'core albums of all time and you know what? It's pretty damn good if I do say so myself. Give the page a follow, and a link to all the pods is below!
Following this page? Following the podcast? Following the fantastic guests we've had and their bands? If the answer is no to any of those questions, sort it out, there's some absolutely cracking episodes coming soon to go alongside the belters we've already had.

AI generated music is 1000x better than real music. Today I canceled Spotify and SiriusXM because I finally tested Suno. What sold me was the first prompt I gave it: “My favorite artists are A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Sleep Token. Analyze all their hits and generate a song I’m likely to love based on those artists.” It one shots an absolute banger in 10 seconds. I'll link the song in the next tweet for anyone curious. Why would I ever go back to Spotify/SiriusXM when I can generate music perfectly tailored to my taste on command, for free? Not affiliated with Suno in any way btw, it was just one of those moments where I was so impressed with AI’s capability I had to say something about it.

When you elect a guy for President who watched Raw and thought Vince McMahon died in a limo explosion, you get what you get.
Wait til he finds out about New York and New Hampshire. Or how California and Texas got their names.

you would think that being priced out of arenas and stadiums would lead people to flock to smaller shows but instead they basically just give up on live music because they don’t know any artists other than what’s trendy and at this point i don’t really feel sorry for them anymore

#Nowreading Children Of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. If the book only had one sort of POV it would be a 10/10, however the other one drags it down to a 9/10 as it feels like it drags. Still, fantastic sci-fi, wonderful and easy to grasp framing of an awkward set of characters.
