The core stage of the Artemis III rocket is officially stacked.

ALT The bottom half of the orange core stage of the Artemis III rocket is suspended vertically in High Bay 3 of the VAB as a crane moves it into place above the mobile launcher. Several levels of observation platforms are visible behind the core stage and one of the solid rocket boosters is seen below. Credit: NASA/Sean Cannon

"None of the 72 vaccines given to children have been tested against placebo "
The reality :
- No child is given 72 vaccines
- The ones they are given have been tested against placebo
Just endless nonsense from your HHS Secretary.

Conducting four different X-ray imaging techniques would normally take researchers many hours — or even days — at separate instruments. But with this new setup at #NSLSII, researchers accomplished the same experiments in about six hours using one tool. bnl.gov/newsroom/news.php?a=…

This is a great visualization by the Rubin observatory of their discovery images of the new planet out beyond Pluto. About half Pluto's size, but they've got a clear track for it across the sky.
Meet our Solar System's newest dwarf planet candidate: 2026 ED138!
Orbiting past Pluto, scientists found it in NSF–DOE Rubin Observatory data from earlier in 2026. Early analysis suggests it's 600–1500 km across, one of the largest found past Neptune!

Friends, I know I've been posting a little less lately, and now I can finally share why: I've joined Intuitive Machines as a Communications Specialist!!
After years of sharing physics, space exploration, and the science behind sci-fi with you all, I get to see my physics Ph.D. and science communication work converge at a company I truly believe in. I'm SO excited to be part of the growing space economy!
I first got excited about Intuitive Machines when it was contracted by NASA to support the Artemis missions. But there's SO MUCH MORE to what IM does! It's becoming a vertically integrated space infrastructure company that's doing more of what it takes to make space missions possible, from building spacecraft and systems to connecting and operating them. If you've heard of their "Build, Connect, Operate" strategy, that's the idea behind it!
Now, I get to help tell the stories about the incredible work happening at IM and the people and tech making it possible. And I'm so thrilled to be part of it!
