Not the biggest Marvel fan but thereâs something so hilariously funny about a 20 year old saying this like youâre talking like youâre 40

He hasnât said this and a much better reading would be that Nathan for You laid a pivotal foundation that continues to feed into his artistic output. NFY already discussed many of the same themes that his current work does, it doesnât seem like he would regret it, itâs cohesive

'CLAYFACE' is a shockingly gruesome horror that holds NOTHING back. It goes all the way with itâs grotesque imagery. Surprisingly, itâs also funny. The film goes from darkly depressing to wacky, colourful, and absurd. A welcome change of tone that proves the DCU can do it all.

I get your point and I feel this was about basically all of the social reckoning, but I way but the thread of quotes you put together kinda defeats your point.
Jobs was pretty talent at creating quotable phrases and being snappy. Thatâs basically what the film shows. The fact that the dialogue is marginally sharper than he was and includes more rich references that he did is not that far off.
Jobsâ favourite musician was Bob Dylan in real life, so the stuff in the film that discusses art and Joni Mitchell lyrics isnât as entirely off as it would be for someone like, say Musk or Zuckerberg.

Digger is one of the most revelatory and devastatingly prescient films in years. With sharply witty dialogue, a brilliantly crafted narrative, and a concept so bold it perfectly frames its story.

The opening scene of Superman destroying Metropolis in BvS mirrors 9/11 but visually and in dialogue, workers literally call their families/bosses and tell them theyâre not going to make it out of the falling skyscrapers.
Further, the whole theme of Superman being a threat we must contain uses him as an allegory for 9/11 and the government response to terror and the Overton window having shifted from a hugely traumatic event.
Finally, Batmanâs extreme response to stopping Superman is similar to Bushâs war on terror, with Bruce saying he must eliminate this threat using whatever it takes after he changed the way we live and recklessly killed innocents when destroying a city. His speech to Alfred in the Batcave sort of encapsulates how the Bush administrate felt about responding to 9/11. âEven if thereâs a 1% chance he could kill usâ is reminiscent of the âweapons of mass destructionâ rhetoric.
