Time for Republicans to take a stand on this issue.
🏃‍♀️ Being the party of rugged individualism means Republicans don't always agree. We stand united in support of Initiative 638. In fact, this is not a partisan issue at all. We continue to hear from commonsense Washingtonians across political lines who recognize that preserving fair play, safety, and Title IX protections matters for all 110,000 girl athletes in our state. Don't let your friends fall for outlandish claims that this measure mandates invasive exams. As three-time Olympic medalist Carol Brown pointed out in the KING 5 debate (linked in comments) I-638 requires nothing of the sort: "There’s nothing in the initiative that requires or endorses genital exams. Standard primary physicals already handle this, and free options exist statewide." It simply restores sex-based eligibility so girls keep the rosters, podiums, and opportunities they worked a lifetime to earn. Find the full KING 5 debate in the first comment. It's an excellent resource to share with friends that haven't decided. Vote YES on I-638 by November 3!

🦅 John Adams warned us in 1790 that property must be secured, or liberty cannot exist. Olympia seems to have skipped history class. They treat your paycheck like a public slush fund, but the Founding Fathers recognized the necessity of protecting your earnings. James Madison made it clear that a government is only just when it impartially secures what belongs to every person. Madison also warned that unequal taxes oppress property, proving that taxing your hard-earned income is a direct attack on the property of your labor. Our liberty is not for sale to fund bureaucratic waste. Vote YES on IP26-645 to repeal the income tax and protect liberty! 🗳️

Very true! People forget The Seattle Times was historically the conservative paper in town. Compared to the old progressive P-I, The Times was always the voice for business interests, fiscal conservatism, and opposing state income taxes. That center-right foundation was their baseline for most of their history. @seattletimes

📋 Remember when sports physicals simply noted a student's biological sex? In 2019, state policies changed to remove that requirement from physicals. Initiative 638 returns us to that proven pre-2019 standard. No new mandates, no bizarre government inspections, just fairness and safety restored for 110,000+ female student-athletes. Vote YES on IL26-638! 🗳️

𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 The headline on Gene Balk’s latest column, "Seattle-area Democrats lose ground, but Republicans aren’t gaining it," perfectly captures the mental gymnastics local media perform to avoid acknowledging conservative momentum. Sure, the article's graph shows our numbers dropping in 2020, likely from Republicans fleeing Inslee’s lockdown. But the Seattle Times' own chart shows a clear recovery: • Democrat: Down from 55% in 2024 to 49%.  • Republicans: Up from 23% in 2024 to 28%. In what math class is a 5-point gain called "not gaining ground"? 📈 Puget Sound voters are clearly growing tired of one-party results and looking for practical balance. Momentum is building, whether the headline writers want to admit it or not. @seattletimes 10/20/26 Article 🔗 in first comment.👇

⚖️ Are you satisfied with the direction of Washington’s highest court? A court meant to interpret the law has increasingly behaved like a legislative body, writing rules from the bench instead of protecting our constitutional boundaries. Because many justices arrived through political appointments, they've been insulated from the voters, until now. This election, we have a historic opportunity to vote on FIVE STATE SUPREME COURT POSITIONS at the exact same time. We hold the actual power to change the court's trajectory and demand true fairness. Voting is our ultimate check and balance. Let's show up and bring real accountability back to Washington! 🗳

🎯 Rep. Drew Stokesbary @stokesbary nailed it at Thursday's KOMO debate: just because 41 other states jumped off the bridge of an income tax doesn't mean Washington should follow. States without an income tax consistently outperform the rest in job creation and personal income growth. It took Democrats 40 years to even pretend to care about our regressive tax code, and their "solution" is just a new tax grab that threatens the very economic engine that makes our state great. Let's reclaim sanity and vote YES on I-645. Check out spicy highlights from last week's debate. Two-minute clip posted in the first comment.

Hauling trash to clean up Seattle. September 26th was the Seattle One Day of Service with cleanups all over town. We joined @weheartseattle to clean the campsites stashed up the hill behind Albert Lee Appliance in the Queen Anne/Interbay area. @KCGOP @WAGOP

🛒 Just seems ironic to see progressives outraged over "surveillance pricing" considering this technology would theoretically charge rich people more for the same everyday products. Seattle recently passed a ban to stop grocery stores from using AI-based personal data to set prices. Public commenters called the technology "creepy and invasive" and once again clamored for "fairness." Guess city leadership wants to ensure they are the only ones allowed to roll out surveillance tech and grab your money. 😆 @KCGOP @WAGOP

🚨Seattle math at its finest: spend millions on the LEAD program, subtract the accountability, and watch the street crisis multiply. Reps. DelBene @RepDelBene and Jayapal @RepJayapal used wildly inflated success rates to secure federal funding for a program that actively turns drug offenders right back onto our sidewalks. Promising diversion without consequences is not compassion, it is just a multi-million dollar policy failure. We deserve a government that delivers results instead of revolving doors. Check the replies for the Washington Policy Center report exposing this bad math. @WAGOP

We’re getting the real facts out there. A realistic figure of 200 trans female athletes playing in schools.
📢 While King County residents struggle with affordability and public safety, our County Council just spent their afternoon virtue signaling against parents and female athletes. Our own executive board member, Victoria Palmer, took to the podium today to inject some much-needed reality into the council chambers. She boldly defended Initiative 638, reminding the council that it simply restores the pre-2019 standards for girls' sports and aligns with Title IX. She also set the record straight on the left’s favorite piece of misinformation, clarifying that the initiative merely requires a standard doctor’s attestation on a physical form—not the sensationalized "invasive exams" activists are claiming. Predictably, the council majority chose political theater over common sense. Councilmember Mosqueda @TeresaMosqueda doubled down on the fear-mongering, falsely claiming the initiative forces "genital exams" and labeling the citizens' effort to protect women's sports as "discriminatory" and "hateful". Even more absurdly, Councilmember Baron @jorgebaron openly acknowledged that our region faces massive crises with public safety, homelessness, and high gas prices—yet he still managed to blame Donald Trump for the council having to debate the issue at all. Ultimately, the council voted 7-2 to use their platform to formally oppose I-638 and I-001 (the Parental Bill of Rights). A massive thank you to Councilmembers Dunn @ReaganDunn and von Reichbauer for being the only two voices of reason to vote "no" on both motions. Identity politics shouldn't trump reality, and bureaucrats shouldn't replace parents. It’s time to reclaim self-governance and return our local institutions to the people. @wagop @letsgowa

💸 It is hard to trust Olympia with a new state income tax when they have a track record of giving our money away to the wrong people. During the 2020 pandemic, the state paid out at least $647 (some estimates as high as $1.1 billion) to international scammers while legitimate Washington workers waited months for help. While a portion of the funds was recovered, public trust hasn't healed. If politicians cannot protect public money from basic cyber scams during a crisis, they have zero business taking a larger share of your paycheck today. Let's bring accountability back to our state government. Vote Republican and Vote YES on I-645. @WAGOP
