It's also irresponsible to just throw opinions out there when they have such a massive audience.
Profiles in courage.
This brave woman, @FahimaSarfaraz, was blinded when her Taliban ex-husband threw acid in her face. He laughed & said she could never be the voice of freedom—because people would be afraid of her.
She told her story to a huge crowd in Poland. And she said, “He didn’t win. I win.”

The claim that QFI only had "Arabic language teaching aids available to download from their website," is disingenuous. See one example below of a lesson shared on QFI's resource page that downplayed the terrorism that led to the murder of 3,000 Americans on 9/11.

The problem with land acknowledgments beyond their virtue signaling without ever having to do anything (like give the land back), as explained by Jerry Coyne @Evolutionistrue
e.g., Indians stole land from other Indian tribes so who actually owned the land a 1,000 or 10,000 years ago?

Something people don't mention enough is that JK Rowling is a domestic violence survivor. She didn't have a victim mentality. She survived by writing the best-selling children's books of a generation. With that said, she's still a DV survivor, and she inherently understands coercive control and abuse dynamics, and she identifies them in the trans activist movement. It amazes me that she has exercised so much restraint in discussing the depths of the effects of her own witch-hunt in an age where few resist doing so, but she doesn't because she doesn't have a victim complex, and that is why they hate her so much.

"Jihad" has been used for centuries to justify conquests, mass killings, enslavement, forced conversions, terrorism, and other atrocities. This is not fringe. It's rooted in classical Islamic law and practice.

I am speaking to those of us who want an explanation for what is going wrong and know that it isn’t as simple as ‘third worlders’ or ‘racism’.
Life is always more complex.
My book explains that complexity.

Free speech doesn't defend itself.
From fighting censorship in court to defending students on campus, @theFIREorg’s work depends on talented people who believe these freedoms are worth fighting for.

Listen, I know not everyone is going to agree with @TheFIREorg all the time. That’s unavoidable when you’re committed to being a genuinely nonpartisan institution in a hyperpartisan society, and when you don't shy away from complex cases that divide even the most thoughtful of us. But here’s my take:
If you agree with FIRE 50% of the time, you should probably be a donor.
If you agree with us 80% of the time, you should probably work here!
Our rights don't come from your god or anyone else's. They’re protected by a secular Constitution, not granted by a supernatural being.
If rights came from God, they’d depend on whose god you believe in.
That’s precisely why separating religion and government matters.
Tulsi Gabbard: “Our rights and freedoms do not come from government. They come from God. And God alone.”
