The Free Speech Union exposed that all five members of the Working Group tasked with drafting the official definition of Islamophobia had troubling links to Islamist organisations, including the Muslim Council of Britain and MEND.
The Working Group held a consultation so people could help shape what became the “anti-Muslim hostility” definition. Given the public interest, the FSU asked which groups and individuals had been consulted.
Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy submitted a Freedom of Information request. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) replied that it had deleted all the responses — in what appears to be against the Government’s own data policy.
The FSU then threatened Angela Rayner’s department with legal action.
Now the department’s most senior civil servant says the responses do exist and remain on its data system, but the department will not disclose who was consulted.
So what is going on? Were we told the responses had been deleted to conceal the fact that Islamist extremists had the chance to influence the definition?
We are now told that an Islamophobia tsar will be announced imminently. Given Rayner and her department’s record, who on earth could it be?

Hey @AngelaRayner, can you confirm whether Islamist extremists helped shape the “anti-Muslim hostility” definition?
If not, why did your department say it had deleted all responses to the Working Group’s consultation, only to later admit — after the Free Speech Union threatened legal action — that it still had them on record?
The public deserves to know the truth and this stinks of a cover up.

If you leave that prison to go to court further afield you get shipped to the prison nearest the court.
I wanted to stay at Peterborough as it was the nearest prison to my family.

This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

As much as im not in the Danny Tommo or Tommy Robinson camp, the government need to understand the effect it has when they lock people up on trumped up charges for non violent crimes to silence them whilst third world savages and dirty nonces get let off with a slap on the wrist.
The people who would rather keep their mouth shut and continue with their own lives start to speak out, they start to understand the problems we are facing, who the enemies are and the fight that we have ahead.
They are poking the beast, when it wakes we will seek justice for the way we have been treated.

JUST IN: In a Muslim Brotherhood-style election fraud incident, a poll worker in Dearborn, Michigan, speaking in Arabic, tells an undercover reporter that he can vote in a U.S. Senate election despite saying he is not a U.S. citizen.
“Only for U.S. President can’t you vote, but for the others, you can.”
Under 18 U.S.C. § 611, noncitizens are prohibited from voting in federal elections, including U.S. Senate races, subject to narrow exceptions.
