These are serious issues, Good to see Media giving voice to this issue and this appears largely to be a policy issues and can be corrected by govt with simple measures. instagram.com/reel/DfNU5h1gQ…

This is a good idea and will def help in co-existence.

You people will talk , talk and talk to flex power but will not raise any valid point. What's stopping you people from demanding the govt to introduce a law requiring company to incorporate sensitization to local language and culture into their onboarding process ?

Govt has published SIR Final roll and they make you download these ugly PDF files with images inside so that you can easily do a search and find. They you want you to read 50 pages of each file to find yourself. It is 2026 and Govt babu's find million ways to test your patience digitally too. Angry!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not falling for this news, people are Buying houses even expensive ones, being a tenant is not a easy thing in India.
When the IT industry falls, every glitter you see around fades. Black money investments from babus and NRIs made these developers take real buyers for granted. Bech lo ab “Luxury projects”. No corporate professional can commit the next 20 years to paying a one-lakh-per-month EMI in the age of AI.

Bengaluru, welcomes another global giant! Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager with nearly $1.4 trillion in assets under management, has opened its GCC in Bengaluru, leasing 4.5 lakh sq. ft. in the ORR tech corridor. The centre will support global operations across finance, technology, HR, legal and compliance. The expansion comes as Blackstone plans to double its investments in India from $51 billion to $100 billion over the next five years. With 1,100+ GCCs, Bengaluru leads every other Indian city by a wide margin. Nearly 1 in 3 new GCCs coming to India chooses Bengaluru, reflecting a decade of sustained investment in talent, progressive policy and a strong technology ecosystem.

It is a fair ask.
Amid debate around Kannadigas being treated unfairly in the IT sector, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike is planning to visit IT/ BT companies ,meet heads,HRs & others from Nov 1st, seek information on recruitment practices & submit memos for fair employment opportunities for locals

I don't think India will ever produce politicians who can speak like this where they can carry everyone together, even momentarily. Indian's face the same issue American public faces, but we just accept it as fate, we are literally 1000 years behind the west in terms of solving our problems. youtube.com/watch?v=bFTpz3mQ…

Absolutely shameless
Bizarre incident. Citizens cleaned Ane Park near Bengaluru on their own by crowd funding. When they came next day they saw poster of BJP MLA Ashwath Narayana taking credit for it. This made them furious and they are calling this out.

Govt should stop taxing severance pay and salary paid in notice period for layoff impacted people. This is morally, ethically, financially cruel to tax someone who paid you Income tax while being in job without getting anything in return and now after losing the job, instead of getting support from Govt, they get taxed again.

Serious concern. Govt should at least start an investigation into this issue via the Labor commissioner. I have seen such practices and thought that it happens only in some shady companies.
Let me share my own experience. I worked for several years in a US-based company in Bengaluru. Around 2011, two people from Kerala occupied senior management positions. During their tenure, I noticed that a large proportion of freshers recruited into the company were from Kerala. Gradually, their regional network grew stronger, and Kerala's language and culture received more prominence than Kannada, despite the company operating in Bengaluru. At one point, there were even attempts to restrict the use of Kannada on the office floor. My association with Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) made the management reconsider that decision. When I left the organization, I openly raised these concerns with HR, who also happened to be from other state. Today, I hear similar allegations about the same company. A Telugu-speaking executive reportedly holding the CTO position in the USA is said to be favoring Telugu-speaking employees in recruitment and promotions in Bengaluru. This is how regional favoritism can operate. When senior managers favor people from their own linguistic backgrounds, those employees eventually become managers themselves. They may then continue the same recruitment patterns, creating a cycle in which qualified local Kannadigas can be overlooked. Many Kannadigas are familiar with concerns about such practices. Kannadigas who understand their rights and are willing to speak up question these practices. But many remain silent, fearing retaliation, career setbacks, or losing their jobs.

Answer is here...✌️ And why do you want to develop another city just stay back in your home town and develop that...🤡🤡
Banglore’s economy is because of migrant people - they aspire to grow and they are the reason for real estate boom . Kannadiga builders and real estate dons and so many political families benefited because of it . Send all migrants back - and u will be left with empty streets and zero economy . So they will just do chest thumping here - but will never actually do it .

Age slowly reveals certain truths - Alcohol loses its appeal - The gym becomes therapy - Good sleep feels priceless - Strong health brings freedom - Quiet evenings feel better than loud nights - Fewer friends feel more valuable - Peace becomes a priority - Simplicity feels like success

Another disturbing visual from Faridabad “6th-engine” government. One day, locals will take matters into their own hands. Wait and watch. Let me remind you who runs the 6th engine of Faridabad: PM — BJP CM — BJP MP — BJP Mayor — BJP Councillor — BJP MLA — BJP @mcfaridabad @cmohry @VipulGoelBJP @PMOIndia

This is a real issue in all souther states and it should discussed with sensitivity. Global De-globalization is also adding to this issue. Indians need another country to suck our youth and labour force to reduce the friction in India.
Karnataka Housefull!! ILP is the need of hours!!!

Okay Boomer, great observation.
One of the biggest reasons Tamil cinema normalised mediocrity as a culture is Rajinikanth. At his peak, Kamal Haasan fought to push Tamil cinema towards better storytelling, technical excellence and artistic ambition. He invested his own money, suffered losses repeatedly and still took risks because he believed audiences deserved better. Rajini, on the other hand, not only acted in mediocre films but turned mediocrity into a marketable identity. Even his celebrated “style” owes more to Amitabh Bachchan than people care to admit, much like the borrowed templates behind several of his films. Kamal brought better technology, technicians and scripts into Tamil cinema, while Rajini largely played it safe, capitalising on a formula that audiences were conditioned to celebrate. The bigger damage was cultural. “Dehatism” became a virtue, and mediocrity became commercially aspirational. Vijay followed that template, and now Pradeep Ranganathan and a generation of actors and directors seem to believe that exaggerated mannerisms, mass hysteria and wafer thin scripts are enough to build a career. Kamal tried to elevate the audience’s cinematic experience. Rajini mastered the art of giving the audience what it already celebrated. And Tamil cinema has been paying the price for that distinction ever since.
