The best way we can show respect for the voters who are upset is by telling them the truth. That is the burden, and the duty, of leadership.

The President has provoked the disgusting events at the Capitol today. He has gone from creating chaos to inciting insurrection. Mr. President, accept your defeat, go home to Florida and let our elected officials do their jobs and rebuild confidence in our democracy.

This is an emergency situation and we are taking appropriate emergency measures, including removing President Trump's video. We removed it because on balance we believe it contributes to rather than diminishes the risk of ongoing violence.

It’s a dark day in America when a UNITED STATES Capitol police officer decides to take a selfie with a TERRORIST! And they wonder why WE don’t feel safe!

I just left an ER shift, and it hit me. Healthcare providers will be respected for tirelessly working to save lives, not accused of falsifying diagnoses or profiteering off a horrible pandemic. We will have a partner working with us, not against us. It already feels so good.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. RBG was a force of nature and a role model for so many women and all Americans. Her friendship with the late Antonin Scalia spoke volumes about her ability to separate the person from the politics.

A reminder to conservatives who are on the fence about voting for @realDonaldTrump: George W. Bush isn’t voting for him. Neither are many people from this administration (and others) who value their careers as public servants. #RVAT2020 @RVAT2020

The President doesn't have to be the smartest person in the country, but it would help if he wasn't the dumbest.

The distinctive thing about people who do great work is not that they spend every waking hour working on things that matter. It's that they consistently spend two or three or four hours a day working on things that matter, rather than zero.
