Envious! I adore mustelids, but mostly have only seen ermine and otter.

Don’t know about big towns but I live on THE street for trick-or-treating in my small town. When I was in Anchorage my neighborhood hosted a September “Trick or Treat in the Heat” for charity so kids could wear costumes without parkas covering them up.

I’m not any good at it. It very rarely occurs to me as an option. I pretty much only do it on a very rare occasion to save hurt feelings or for safety reasons.

Is that Irene Bedard?!! Some of my friends were in plays with Homegirl up in Anchorage before she went professional. My heart always lights up when I see her.

It happened to my cat. I learned if he headed for the bathroom to run and turn him around because he was just going to get lost behind the door. When he yowled, cat food (6x a day) shut him up.

Nice! We so rarely get herons in Southcentral Alaska so when one showed up this fall everyone was confused. Usually we get these energetic choristers…

After citing all the laws and getting nowhere they threatened to take it public and get the Wounded Warriors Project (who had provided Andie, the service dog) involved and he had to drop it.

But it was a service dog. With a vest. They had proof. Provided to a veteran by the Wounded Warrior Project. (They learned not to announce the service dog before arrival because suddenly sites would become “unavailable”.)
