Democrats want to tax the rich to pay for their socialist agenda. Will it work?
The total wealth of every U.S. billionaire combined is about $7 trillion. Forget taxes…if the government could magically seize all that wealth at its current value, it would only pay for 20% of Medicare for All.
There are two ways for Dems to pay for their agenda: significantly raise taxes for EVERY SINGLE WORKING AMERICAN or massively increase the debt which will cause more inflation and hike interest rates.
The only way to lower prices is LESS GOVERNMENT.

Xavier Becerra was given a clear chance Thursday to explain how he plans to make California more affordable. He snapped at the reporter, said “everything should be on the table,” and then signaled that rich people should pay more.
Becerra is already a failure before he starts. California spends billions yearly on people here illegally. Cutting that spending and using the savings to lower state income taxes, gas taxes, and energy costs would ease the affordability crisis. Doing it at scale, while helping enforce existing federal immigration laws, would reverse the exodus and increase total tax revenue as more people and businesses stay. Becerra knows this. He just won’t say it because it breaks the Democrat narrative.
Instead he’s likely to raise taxes on the wealthy. That drives more of them out and reduces revenue. He’s also open to new costs on drivers, which piles onto already high registration, insurance, and gas prices. Becerra has had years to prepare a real plan. He still doesn’t have one. That’s why Thursday’s interview turned awkward. He got angry and dodged instead of answering. A leader shares the solution. Someone who’s going to fail his people does what Becerra did.

Democrats have controlled one or both chambers of the California legislature for 59 of the past 65 years. They have controlled every statewide office for 16 years. If they knew how to achieve results, they would have delivered them by now. How long do Californians have to wait?
California Assembly Speaker @RobertRivas_CA @CASpeakerRivas (D-Salinas) speaks on Democrats expanding their supermajorities in both chambers of the Legislature to potential historic highs.
"It's going to be historic in numbers and size."
"People want change. They are tired of being tired. We have to ensure we are delivering results."

This is going to be a massive change for CA media. And a real loss for voters wanting to know what the GOV thinks. The last two CA governors (Jerry and Gavin) always engaged the press and public and were willing to share their views even when they could evolve. Methinks this is going to be a contentious relationship between this next GOV and the CA press corps.

If I can leave you with one thing this Tuesday, it's this: Steve Hilton is running for governor of California & is separate from Trump. And your hate for Trump isn't going to fix the homeless problem, your bills, or California's infrastructure.
Voting for someone just because there's a D next to their name doesn't benefit you. You LOSE when you let your hatred of Trump stand in the way of a truly great candidate who's ready to show up for Californians as our next governor.
Becerra will make your life more expensive. He'll make you even more afraid to walk around neighborhoods that used to be safe. And you'll watch more of your friends pack their bags for Florida.
Don't be afraid to check the Republican box this time!

THREE HOURS LEFT, CALIFORNIA!
If you haven't voted yet, get to the polls NOW. Don't leave it to the last minute.
If you have, text your friends, call your family, and remind everyone you know to get out and VOTE.
We can WIN this, but we need EVERYONE to do their part!

Steve Hilton Just SNAPPED in Closing Message, BEGGING Voters to SAVE California: “It’s F*ing INSANE”
No one has seen an energy like this in a Republican campaign in the state in a long time.
You don't have to be a Republican or like Trump. Vote against the high costs, insanity, homelessness, the stench of urine and feces on the streets, high gas prices, high taxes.
If you would rather put up with that becuase you hate Trump, Steve says "You are F*CKING Insane!"
His pitch to California: $3.00 gas instead of $6.00. The first $150,000 of income tax-free. Clean up the trash and homelessness. A complete overhaul of the policies driving Californians out of their own state.
This is a level of grassroots energy California hasn’t seen in 20 years, fueled by voters fed up with the status quo.
Vote for @SteveHiltonx to save California and shock the world.

Becerra’s mileage tax puts the government in your car. Every mile tracked, every trip billed: work, school, church, your kid’s practice.

Nobody has worked harder to earn votes than Steve Hilton. Honorable, optimistic, energetic, and unmitigated love for our state. He deserves to be Governor.

I almost never post about politics but as a 20 year California resident I need to say: let’s try something different. Your feelings about the occupant of the WH has ZERO to do with our beautiful but f’ed-up state. Personally I’m tired of paying among the highest taxes and prices in the nation and getting such piss poor results. Our cities should be gleaming, our high speed rail should be running (or at least exist), our schools should be producing the cream of society for what we pay. The current leadership has demonstrated its capabilities or lack thereof. There is nowhere to go but up. Vote Hilton if only because the status quo doesn’t deserve more time to make things even worse
I see so many Democrats aligned with Hilton’s policies and views…but they’re too afraid to vote for him. Voting for Hilton is a vote for cheaper gas, less crime, cleaner streets. You’re not voting for Trump in this election so stop voting as if a vote for Hilton is a vote for Trump. They’re two different governments and two different people. Vote for what you agree with…not in an attempt to prove a point against the federal government.

If you’ve never voted before in your life, now is the TIME to do it!
VOTE FOR:
✅ $3 gas
✅ $73 car registration
✅ No state income tax on your first $150,000
✅ Cutting electricity bills in half
Trump is NOT on the ballot! The FUTURE of California is, and it’s in our hands!

It's easy to blame the government, but what California looks like for the next four years is in YOUR hands this Tuesday.
After 15 years of one-party rule, California has had enough. Becerra represents more of the same & has a track record of deception & mistrust. It's time to try something different!
Steve Hilton has already shown up: walking Skid Row, sitting down to dinner in the homes of everyday Californians, hearing their concerns firsthand, and fighting for $3 gas.
Tuesday is make-or-break for California's future. Vote for common sense, not the R or D next to someone's name!

Lifelong Democrats are telling me they don’t want another four years of Gavin Newsom’s policies under Xavier Becerra.
And now, on top of everything Californians already pay just to drive their cars, Xavier Becerra wants to tax us for every mile we drive.
Enough is enough!
VOTE for change.
