Binance is a key onramp into web3 and this listing will allow Ronin to grow even faster.
Why did Binance list Ronin?
• Ronin is the most used gaming chain and the 3rd most used blockchain. Period
• Ronin is a distribution channel, with a battle-hardened community rabid to try Ronin games.
Ronin is proving that it’s the dominant web3 gaming chain by catalyzing a massive increase in players for games migrating to/launching on Ronin.
This was famously proven by @pixels_online migration from Polygon to Ronin. DAU went from 5,000 at the time of migration to over 180,000 today. Monthly active players is also at over 330,000.

The first platform to dominate distribution for a market can jump out to a huge advantage that is used to leapfrog competitors. Think of how Apple used content via the Ipod/Itunes/Imac connect to flank Microsoft and beat Sony at their own game. Artists were willing to endorse Itunes and upload their music for a lower cost because of the distribution and marketing power that Apple had. Tech is only important if it creates this distribution advantage.
The strategy is to use gaming as an approachable portal into web3. Then we can introduce users to financial applications and more complex higher LTV applications.
This is how the largest all-purpose chain will be created: content + social interactions as an onboarding portal.
Content is king. We've built a hardcore community through axie and that's created a bootstrapping mechanism for other games + content to find an audience.
P.S. some have been asking why Binance is using $RONIN as the ticker instead of $RON. First, there was already a romanion currency listed as RON. Second, as king of the gaming chains it's more respectful to address Ronin by its full name.
For now, let's use both $RON and $RONIN when posting on social media for maximum coverage.

Asking the @AxieInfinity community to please stand up to the core team about these land reward changes and help them see that they are running the game into the ground if they follow thru with it.
I have been dealing with some health issues that make me unable to deal with stress much for the next few months, and needless to say fighting these changes will require lots of stress and frustration.
While I have prided myself on standing up for the community and holding @SkyMavisHQ to their promises, due to my health situation I won't be able to be nearly as vocal as I would like. Please help by being my voice in this matter.

A bit more color on my views about the terrible misstep @SkyMavisHQ and @AxieInfinity are making:
- Land staking is and has been a way for land owners to slowly gain value and ownership in Axie over time
- The fact that many land staking rewards are sold stems from the fact that there are a lot of people who are frustrated or who are hoping to 'earn out' their land rather than selling. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it prevents lots of land from flooding onto the market in times of low demand (such as while the team is working on new versions etc)
- If the land game were given more attention and made to be good, this would bring external positive buying pressure from people who want to buy land to play and to use, allowing many of the plots that are being 'earned out' to be sold to people who really want those plots to play
- Currently there is very little liquidity or demand for most Axie assets, as no new whales have entered the ecosystem in a long time and every whale who has entered in the past has been burned by this pattern of not meeting expectations from the team
- When new whales and buyers enter and want to own land, that gives an exit path for people 'earning out' their plots to accelerate the earn-out and everyone is happy
- When cutting emissions like this, it makes everyone, new and old buyers alike, worried about believing in any reliable data or estimates because things can change without regard for the game economy
- Land staking was a crutch to get from where we were, to the point above where there is strong organic demand for land to play it -- and as evidenced by feedback (or lack thereof) across the board, we are not at the above point yet. But the earnings chosen for land staking were all funds that must be distributed to the community anyway!
- This opposition to distributing AXS to the community cannot be framed as making AXS price go up in any rational way. Land staking emissions are 1/5th of AXS staking emissions, and ultimately the best way to make AXS go up is to build a great game that everyone loves and wants to own a piece of... burning your most loyal community members who have stuck around thru an entire bear market is not how you do that, and certainly not how you engender any amount of goodwill
The most important takeaway is that if you have a problem with land owners selling some AXS to recover a bit of an investment made 4 years ago, you are missing the forest for the trees. And the best way to prevent that is by bringing organic demand to land by **increasing** earnings and then creating robust in-game AXS loops to encourage use there.
Asking the @AxieInfinity community to please stand up to the core team about these land reward changes and help them see that they are running the game into the ground if they follow thru with it.

This system is solving an issue where players were spending significant amounts of time de-ranking to farm AXP at lower ranks. That was lame and should be eliminated now.
