All hell broke loose in Russia's city of Ryazan as Ukrainian Forces targeted a number of facilities in the area. Among other targets that included the Dyagilevo airbase, an Ozon logistics hub and a data center was their 5th refinery in only seven days.
This Rosneft facility, commissioned in 1960, is located approximately 500 km from Ukraine, in the city of Ryazan, southeast of Moscow.
One of Russia’s largest refineries, it has an annual processing capacity of 17 million tons of crude oil (approximately 340,000 barrels per day), equivalent to roughly 5% of Russia’s refining volume.
The refinery produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, including supplies for Russia’s military.
A major fire erupted following the overnight attack. The extent of the damage remains unclear.
The facility has repeatedly been targeted by Ukrainian forces.

Breaking: Federal judge dismisses—and lambastes—the DOJ false statements case against two former FBI officials. Calls it “weaponization.”
Judge Faruqui—a former federal prosecutor himself—said the government made a number of errors in their "slapdash job" of a case. He said there was no evidence presented before the court that the FBI agents' statements were knowingly false or material. He said the government failed to establish a motive for why the agents would make false statements.
He told prosecutors it was "incredibly unfair" that the DOJ sent into court with such a weak case. "This does not feel like an investigation," Faruqui said. "It feels like a broken one-wish willow obsession."
He added that he was "deeply troubled by what has happened here in this case," and that what happened "cannot be described as anything other than weaponization."
"It was a rush to charge, and that was a mistake," Faruqui said of the case.

No longer abiding by White House dictates, Ukraine has resumed strikes on Russia's oil industry, in today's dawn hours striking Russia's Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Samara Oblast.
Likely a record number of strikes on one Russian facility, 11 separate areas of the conplex now burning. This facility is approximately 800 km from Ukraine’s internationally recognized border.
Another aging relic of the Stalin era, this complex began operation in 1951. With an annual processing capacity of approximately 8.8 million tonnes of crude oil, it produces gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel and other petroleum products.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

Russian terrorism must be stopped. It must be! To strike a busy railway station full of civilians just to punish us is completely inhuman, next-level barbarism. I struggle to convey my disgust, my rage... and sorrow.
Why was it done, why kill people like this? To say "we are letting Oleshky evacuate, but we will still keep murdering you?" I cant wrap my mind around it. I can't. Why? Why??
