Ilhan Omar talks about "genocide" every single day.
Gaza. Gaza. Gaza.
But a Somaliland outlet says her father was a COLONEL in Siad Barre's army during the Isaaq genocide.
More than 200,000 civilians killed.
Hargeisa bombed to rubble.
Has she EVER said one word about it?
No.
She wouldn't even vote yes to recognize the Armenian genocide.
Read that again.
Ilhan, it's time to come clean.

WE’RE CRAZY NOT TO RECOGNIZE SOMALILAND.
They’re sitting next to the Bab el-Mandeb — the chokepoint that moves 10-12% of global seaborne trade — and begging America to take the spare key. Berbera port, long runway, Taiwan ties, critical minerals, no Al-Shabaab since 2008.
Somalia is the failed state that keeps exporting fraudsters and Ilhan Omar.
There is no downside.

Political gatherings may produce headlines, but no such gathering can manufacture a veto over Somaliland’s future, erase its history, sovereignty, or the legitimate aspirations of its people.
Using the failed Mogadishu administration as a proxy against Somaliland will never work.

I had a productive meeting with Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi yesterday.
Somaliland has already established itself as a reliable partner for the United States on a range of issues, from countering terrorism to protecting shipping around the Horn of Africa. We discussed further strengthening the U.S.-Somaliland partnership.
I have been pushing the United States to deepen our partnership. I am committed to securing American recognition of Somaliland’s sovereignty and, in the meantime, I’m urging the State Department to stop treating Somaliland as the same as Somalia. The U.S. should establish a region-specific Travel Advisory specifically for Somaliland, which would reflect the reality on the ground.
I look forward to continuing our work to advance our shared security interests.

It was an honor to welcome Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi to my office in Washington today.
The people of Somaliland have worked hard to strengthen their relationship with the U.S. and our allies. It's why I'm proud to lead legislation that supports removing barriers to U.S. financial markets, which is great for both of our nations.

The son of former Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre has reportedly been living in Ohio for years — right in the heart of one of the largest Somali communities in the U.S.
Ayanle Siad Barre, 61, was described by an Oxford University researcher as his father's "right-hand man" who allegedly wielded significant power within a regime accused of mass killings, torture and atrocities against the Isaaq clan, according to the New York Post.
Survivors of the Barre regime are now calling on U.S. authorities to investigate what family members knew or did during the dictatorship.

🚨 SOMALI DICTATOR’S ‘RIGHT-HAND MAN’ SON FOUND LIVING IN OHIO
The NY Post reports that Ayanle Mohamed Siad, son of dictator Siad Barre and described by a historian as his father’s “right-hand man,” has been living in Columbus, Ohio. Barre’s regime is accused of atrocities that left as many as 200,000 people dead.
The family was also linked to an Ohio home-health company that received more than $1.8 million in Medicare funding; the Post notes the company appeared legitimate and filed proper paperwork.
One survivor called for accountability: “The US should appoint a fact-finding commission of inquiry to investigate the barbaric and brutal atrocities committed during the military regime and hold accountable those who had done those crimes.”
