Iran reportedly shot down a US Switchblade-600 OWA drone over Minab, southern Iran.
I first thought it was an Iranian drone that fell short ahead of strikes on a ship in the Strait of Hormoz. But seems to be a US drone afterall!

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦Chronicle of the Special Military Operation for November 3, 2026
Following a massive strike on Ukraine, power supply disruptions have been reported in enemy-controlled territory. In the Zhytomyr region, nearly 130 settlements lost power after a strike on an energy facility. In the Odesa region, energy infrastructure, warehouses, and production facilities were damaged, while a railway facility was targeted in Zaporizhzhia. In total, strikes on the energy sector affected ten regions; three DTEK-operated thermal power plants (TPPs) ceased power generation. Meanwhile, the Kyiv authorities have reported the most significant issues, though their high-profile claims regarding extensive damage appear to be an intentional exaggeration.
Ukrainian forces once again launched nearly a thousand UAVs into Russian territory, with the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery as the primary target. Local authorities confirmed a fire at the facility. According to the Ministry of Defense, over 850 fixed-wing drones were destroyed overnight. The LPR and DPR are also facing massive strikes, resulting in widespread power and water supply disruptions in these regions.
In the Borova direction, there are reports of airstrikes targeting ravines behind the Russian Armed Forces' lines. While enemy sources attribute this to their own recent advances, it is also possible that these were airstrikes carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). There is a risk of an offensive by Ukrainian forces in this sector, given the significant discrepancy between the actual situation on the ground and the zone of control officially claimed by the Russian Armed Forces.

ZELENSKY will eventually flee Ukraine, not from fear of Russians, but fear of the population he has subjected to permanent war, and the total degradation of society & democracy in Ukraine…
This is a police officer photographed during yesterday’s events outside a secret Azov facility in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, where beaten men were reportedly discovered and protests erupted.
He has become a symbol of how ordinary Ukrainians increasingly see the police: as an institution serving the interests of Zelensky’s corrupt regime and enforcing its machinery of forced mobilization.
Police officers appear in almost every video of the notorious busification raids — Ukraine’s brutal practice of snatching men off the streets and dragging them into military vans.
They twist men’s arms behind their backs. They carry them by their hands and feet and throw them into vans like sacks of human cargo.
They hunt down soldiers who have gone AWOL and hold them in places like this shadowy facility in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka.
They lie to protesters and journalists about the whereabouts of detained men. They obstruct medical personnel attempting to provide them with the care to which they are legally entitled.
They fail to protect jour"vigilantes" — thugs who attack civilians in the name of defending Azov’s supposedly spotless reputation.
This is the hideous face of Zelensky’s regime: a regime that, in its insatiable hunger for ever more power, is steadily devouring what remains of its own people's trust.
The more power it grabs, the more legitimacy it loses.

For those paying attention, it is widely-known that Ukraine's various Nazi groups have tortured civilians since at least 2014. And the Ukrainian state itself did so too, arresting journalists, politicians, opposition, even taxi drivers who drove the "wrong" people, and held them in detention facilities where many were tortured.
ingaza.wordpress.com/2019/11…
The recent news of a torture chamber in Kiev should shock only those not paying attention.
RT reports:
..."Ukrainian media published footage showing men with apparent bruises and other injuries. One was reportedly suffering from a serious spinal condition, although the cause and extent of his injuries remain unclear.
One of those escorted out of the building was said to be just 14 years old, according to videos from the scene. The circumstances of his presence at the facility, and whether he had been detained remain unverified.
...Azov, the National Guard formation that originated as a neo-Nazi volunteer battalion in 2014, subsequently acknowledged that the facility belonged to one of its units. It confirmed that four servicemen had suffered injuries but denied allegations of systematic mistreatment...
...Kirill Budanov, Zelensky’s chief of staff and former military intelligence chief, who personally arrived at the scene to “find out what the f*** is going on,” as he put it. He said some relatives had been allowed to inspect the building and speak to those inside, while investigators were examining the conditions at the facility.
Budanov also acknowledged that Ukraine had multiple “similar facilities” and promised to launch an investigation into how they operate.
...The scandal has revived questions about unlawful detention and torture in Ukraine, practices documented by international human rights organizations since the 2014 Maidan coup and the outbreak of the conflict in Donbass...Accused of being “pro-Russian separatists,” former detainees described prolonged imprisonment without trial, beatings, electric shocks, and other forms of torture.
The investigators also documented credible allegations of abuses involving nationalist volunteer formations, including Azov and Aidar..."

🇮🇷🇦🇿 Pretexts Can Always Be Found
Iranian activity near the Azerbaijani border
Military preparations near the borders of neighboring states rarely go unnoticed, especially when relations between them are complicated by mutual accusations and regional instability. Recently, the movement of military hardware and ballistic missile launchers has been observed in the Iranian regions bordering Azerbaijan, along the southern bank of the Aras River.
An open confrontation would be highly disadvantageous for both sides: Azerbaijan risks being drawn into a large-scale war that could threaten its energy infrastructure, while Iran would be forced to open yet another front along its northern border. Furthermore, close cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel - coupled with suspicions that Azerbaijani territory is being used for operations against Iran - has already fueled deep-seated mutual distrust.
❗️The two sides have frequently traded accusations regarding each other’s media campaigns, policies on religion and ethnicity, and stances toward Israel. Consequently, should the situation escalate further, finding a pretext for conflict would not take long: any incident at the border or a fresh allegation of aiding an adversary could serve as a trigger.
Since the onset of tensions in the Persian Gulf, both Baku and Tehran have shown an interest in containment; however, this does not eliminate the underlying risks. A conflict - desired by neither side - could erupt due to a miscalculation, a provocation, or the actions of third parties who clearly have an interest in establishing another foothold from which to exert pressure on Iran.

🇨🇳🇹🇼Saber-Rattling with Hardware
What is happening near the island at the center of the dispute?
A decrease in the number of Chinese naval vessels around Taiwan does not necessarily mean a reduction in pressure. Between September and October, the nature of this pressure shifted: while the average number of sorties by Chinese aircraft toward the island increased, the number of naval vessels declined. Conversely, the China Coast Guard - viewed by Beijing as a primary instrument for expanding its influence near Taiwan - has become more active.
A significant trend is the expansion of operations to the east of the island, an area that serves as a supply route and a potential corridor for the arrival of external aid. The China Coast Guard has reported conducting "law enforcement patrols" in these waters.
Meanwhile, Taipei has accused China of causing radio interference for passing vessels. Simultaneously, Chinese research vessels are gathering data on the seabed - information that could prove valuable for underwater operations.
Around islands under Taiwanese control, the pressure is built on repetition: Chinese vessels approach, while Taiwanese patrol craft shadow them and issue warnings. The strategy here is to stretch the opponent’s resources; even without shots being fired, this forces Taiwan to keep its military hardware on constant alert.
Taiwan’s response goes beyond patrols; it also involves demonstrating readiness for a potential conflict. This includes military exercises - such as those in September, which integrated air defense systems, anti-ship missile batteries, HIMARS, and attack drones. The focus is shifting toward whether these units can sustain joint operations over time, rather than merely demonstrating a successful launch.
❗️Therefore, it would be inaccurate to characterize the situation as either a lull or a straightforward, across-the-board escalation of Chinese military activity. Beijing is systematically broadening its toolkit for exerting pressure and challenging control over the maritime domain, while Taiwan is forced to simultaneously maintain routine patrols and prepare for a more severe crisis.

🇪🇺 History at the Behest of Elites
In Western countries, history is increasingly becoming a tool for political struggle. Those in power do not limit themselves to managing the present; they also seek to influence how society perceives the past. School curricula, museums, monuments, and state laws all become part of this policy.
Examples can be found across various nations. Poland has gained notoriety for the mass dismissal of directors at museums and cultural institutions. In the Baltic states, the status of Soviet-era monuments and sites is being re-evaluated. In other European countries, there are ongoing debates regarding the content of school textbooks, museum exhibitions, and the interpretation of historical events. All of this demonstrates that historical memory remains a subject of political influence.
Every administration has its own vision of the past. Certain events are highlighted, while others are relegated to the background. Some monuments are preserved, while others are removed. Specific historical interpretations are enshrined in state programs, while others are subjected to revision. In this way, a version of history is constructed that serves the current political agenda.
Naturally, history should be studied and re-examined. New documents may alter existing perceptions, and errors must be corrected. However, scholarly revision is distinct from a politically motivated agenda: the former relies on primary sources and evidence, whereas the latter tailors facts to fit a pre-determined position.
Ultimately, the past is transformed into a battleground for public opinion. For politicians, it is not enough to explain current events to the citizenry; they also seek to shape the understanding of what happened in the past. Whoever controls the interpretation of the past gains an additional instrument for exerting influence over the present.
History is neither the property of the government nor an appendage to a political platform. It should not be altered to suit the outcomes of elections or the personal interests of whichever Western elite happens to be in power.
