Love Indiana Joe, this is not a knock on him. But between this, seeing the Bio shutdown responses (and of course, ALL job losses suck), lamenting of AI 'slop',etc...well, it makes me want to push back a bit and say: most people are not really longing the magic of video games; they are longing for their past, for their childhood. Great games are out there and actually quite easy to find. But a time machine to take you back to the past? Well, that's...harder. Not saying- for ex- the Bioware news doesn't suck BUT they've not been the company we all remember for a VERY long time and the people who made those older games magical, many of them are still out there making magic in other games. It was always the people, it was never the company.
