Rockstar VOWS their next game will NOT take 8 years to make, and that GTA 6 serves as their foundation going forward:
“The engine, the tools and the team we’ve built during this project will allow us to do things more quickly" and they talk about how GTA 3 allowed them to make Vice City and then San Andreas much faster. GTA 6 changed the foundations of their workflow and engine, and they have no intention to rip it out again.
I hope this means a Bully 2, LA Noire 2, RDR3, GTA 7 and more are games that we see within the next decade, rather than just one of them.
