Working people are tired of hearing about βrecord profitsβ while they fight for scraps and struggle to make ends meet.
Working people are hungry for change and real financial stability, and a union contract is how to make that happen! kiowacountypress.net/contentβ¦

14 months after being tackled and pepper sprayed for observing an ICE raid, David Huerta is vindicated.
This attempt to weaponize the justice system against anyone who dares to defend immigrant workers collapsed because the truth, and the videos, don't lie.
To every worker, every immigrant, everyone whoβs ever been targeted: now is the time to keep organizing.

The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducted a national study and found that the demands of security officers have grown, yet the conditions under which officers work have not kept pace with those demands. Itβs time that we #StandforSecurity.
THIS is what we mean when we say weβre worth more. Our labor is worth more than a parking spot, and itβs why weβre seeing working people across industries go on strike or organize a union to demand better pay!

Security officers in NYC who DONβT have a union often have their lives upended by last minute schedule changes. (The NYC Fair Workweek Law does not apply to most security officers.)
Β
100+ NYC officers who work for Elite Investigations have signed a petition demanding that the responsibilities of their profession be matched with respect, STABILITY, and fair compensation!
Β
32BJ SEIU security members in NYC have fair scheduling protections in their union contract that require employers to offer consistent schedules.

We're outside #SCOTUS today to #ProtectTPS! The vast majority of those losing work permits & protections are Black & brown. This is intentional, designed to expand mass deportation. Its effects would go far beyond family separation, it would hurt all workers & weaken the economy.
