FU Nico Harrison.
361 POINTS FOR LUKA THROUGH 9 GAMES 🤯 Luka Dončić (40.1 PPG) joins Wilt Chamberlain as the only players across NBA history to average 40+ PPG through his first nine games of a season.

Dwight Powell's debut for his new team in Turkey, showing off his skills and smart play. Dude was an undersized center his whole career in the NBA but always played a high IQ style, professional, and was a true team player. I think he's got another 2-3 years left in the tank to play in Europe and then will - hopefully - return to the Mavs as a scout or coach. Thanks for everything, Dwight!

Hey @grok, which NBA draft since the 2000/2001 season had the best top 3 picks and which had the worst?

I don’t think anyone in our lifetime will break Ronaldo’s longevity as a footballer. He’s 1 of 1. Thanks for all the memories!
Cristiano Ronaldo has officially retired from international football 🇵🇹 He retires with the most caps in international football (234) and most goals in international football (146) 🐐

The last time someone did what Luka just did was around the time the Soviet Union still existed. 6th consecutive game of 35+ PTS, 5+ REB, 5+ AST and 5+ 3PM (longest streak in NBA history). He's also the first player to reach 300+ points through his first eight games of the season since Michael Jordan in 1988-89. But hey, he doesn’t play defense, right? Sad haters man, just sad.

Twitter plus fan base in a nutshell. Love this clip!
Look how much these guys HATE each other. Imma go write an article based on this interaction alone. Hope this gets aggregated.

It's really strange how different a 1-1 record feels depending on the sequence of events. Walk with me... Out of their last 2 games, the Mavs won against the Rockets and lost against the Kings. Vibes are pretty bad and back to "told you so, not a serious team, they suck." Now, if the two games were in a reverse order (but same results), vibes would be entirely different. Lose against the Kings first (terrible, of course) but then follow it up with a win against the Rockets... and all of a sudden it's like "told you so, this team is showing heart and morale, they are good." Same 1-1 record, totally different perception. Maybe instead of shouting doom and gloom after the loss to the Kings, and also proclaiming Cooper a top 3 MVP candidate after the Rockets game... maybe just take a step back and realize that the sequence of events has an incredibly big impact on how we perceive things. There's the "yeah, great" 1-1 record and then there's the "omg, we suck" 1-1 record. Mavs will be fine.

MacMahon has the saddest little man syndrome ever. Get your few seconds of “fame” by bashing Luka’s name over and over again whenever you get a chance. Definition of a loser, right there.
“I would not trade Cooper Flagg for Luka… Cooper Flagg, I believe right now is a top 10 player.”👀 - Tim MacMahon (h/t @TheNBABase )

Are the Mavs really going to lose against the only winless team (0-6 Kings) after having beating the only unbeaten team (5-0 Rockets) just two days ago?

I did not have the Grizzlies on my bingo card, that's for sure. Also, Lakers leading in fast break points feels a bit funny. Which team stat stands out to you?

Morez might never reach lofty counting stats but he has the potential to become one the best impact players. Dude is a winner with an incredible motor.
Look how Dusty May has the Dallas Mavericks playing on defense. They are switching 1-5 with Morez Johnson Jr on the floor. That’s why this team drafted him.

Cooper might the be the generalist of the league this season. He might not be elite yet in any particular category but he is very good in all and has virtually no weakness. What his ceiling is… only God knows.

Honestly a bit baffled by this. They play pretty well and vibes seem much better than 2025. What’s the reason for the low attendance?
The Dallas Mavericks recorded their lowest home attendance in nearly 25 years last night 😬, per @kapkap42

The non-news of this is so obvious. Half the leave is monitoring Kyrie. We won’t let you have him, cheers!
The Miami Heat are monitoring Kyrie Irving, per @ShamsCharania
