Amazing footage of a meteor exploding over the active volcano Mount Sakurajima in Japan.

If the Earth is flat, a continuous flight over both the North AND South Pole in a single loop around the world is physically impossible on every Flat Earth map model.
Yet, in November 1965, the 'Rockwell Polar Flight' did exactly that.
Let’s break down the facts. 🧵

Here's my postmortem of the celestial theodolite. In short, you have to account for refraction when dealing with occultations of stars by objects in our atmosphere, cel theo breaks down at high alt targets at high distance and the distances used the globe.

If Earth were truly stationary, we wouldn’t have a standard 24 hour day. A non spinning Earth in solar orbit means one daylight cycle takes a full year: 6 months of continuous, scorching sun followed by 6 months of pitch-black freezing darkness.

The Earth is moving. We don’t have to take it on faith, we measure it continuously down to the millimeter and millisecond. From space geodesy to orbital physics, here is how we prove both Earth's axial rotation and its orbit around the Sun. 🧵

The tallest mountain on Earth vs. the Solar System, side by side.
Mount Everest would barely reach halfway up this gigantic volcano on Mars, called Olympus Mons.

You can't spell discovery without "disco"
50 years ago today, NASA launched a 2-foot (60-cm) ball that transformed studies of Earth’s shape, rotation, and gravity field.
It has no sensors, no batteries, no electronics… just 426 retroreflectors that allow scientists to make extremely precise distance measurements using lasers.
LAGEOS is still orbiting Earth, and is expected to remain in its very stable orbit for millions of years!
🚀 Sen is going to space...again!
We’re excited to announce that our SpaceTV-3 payload will fly aboard @Starcloud_ (Starcloud-2), launching in early 2027.
The mission will bring near-continuous 4K UHD video of Earth from space from multiple cameras, building on our live ISS footage from SpaceTV-1. 🌍
A new chapter in making space accessible to everyone. 🚀

Wondering how many Flat Earthers have reached out to the thousands of members of the Astronomical League over the years, offering to help them "re-measure" the distance to the sun.

On May 10th in Utqiagvik, Alaska, the sun popped up at 2:57 AM… and it’s staying up there for the next 84 days straight until August 2nd.
Midnight sun like this is only possible on a tilted spherical Earth. The North Pole is angled toward the Sun all summer, which creates weeks of nonstop polar days.
Flat Earth can’t explain any of this.

Space is real and I know it. I've measured the distances of rockets, satellites, planets, the sun and stars. I'm a Christian and it doesn't conflict with space. You are speaking lies, including about me.

Everyone watch this.... Shane please show everyone where I claimed "I could show the code" when I stated the measurements are what were coming from a globe while also stating you were trying assert only one way to show the globe. Maybe I can dismantle your model on X like on TT.
