Horror movie revisionism has led people to feel the genre is somehow universally respecable and its just not. There's very little to it and the exceptions are what critics have held otherwise and there's genuine good in keeping regressive trash out of public view

Eu não vou negar, mesmo após 13 anos, eu ainda acho impressionante como este filme faz realmente você pensar que é um reboot da franquia, para no final eles tacarem o plot que ele é uma sequência direta de Filho do Chucky.

Brad Bird explains that each person's powers in ‘THE INCREDIBLES’ represents an average family unit. “Fathers are expected to be strong, so I made him super strong. Mothers are pulled in ten directions at once, so she stretches. Teenagers are insecure & defensive so she can turn invisible & has force fields. 10-year old boys are energy balls that just go until they pass out. Babies are unknowns, they could be the next leader of the free world or they could be a bag man, you don’t know.” (Source: @ThatHollywood)
