These are some great tips on how to deal with far-right accts & the onslaught of bots that follow. They want to wrap you up so they can pile on, add more misinformation & silence you. It isn't abt 'debate.'

I didn't show you all my finished sweater. I knit my first sweater you all. I think the pic is suitable for the French to use in their roasting of racist Japanese ppl but either way isn't it pretty? I used 2 new colorways I released (inspired by Black figures in the middle ages).

The success of their movement is dependent on fabrications about others, so our priority should be questioning their claims & exposing when they're lying. When you see an accusation or assumption by an ATA, please seek to verify it before engaging with the accusation itself.

A lot of time, the racism in fandom spaces isn't always obvious. It's often shows up as giving a dark skin character less grace. And being more critical & nitpicky. It's not always slurs. It's also not showing love for that character simply because of their skin tone.

This is gender critical ideology:
They apologized for eulogizing a woman who was murdered, because they believe she isn't tiny enough to be a "real woman" and "real women" would be offended by that.

"Greek" life does not exist outside the US, and is obviously not coextensive with the freedom of students to associate in clubs and hang out on campus. It's just a very obviously nepotistic networking scheme, incidentally leveraged to enforce an omerta among privileged students.

Now that we know it’s fake, let me just add:
1) If you are in a mental health crisis, please seek help.
2) There is no shame in mental health treatment.
3) More of our elected leaders SHOULD see mental health professionals.
4) Speaking to someone in a time of stress is a sign of GOOD character.
While we don’t want goons lying about people - we should also remember that these idiots were trying to vilify the idea of someone getting support.
We’re all human, and even the strongest and most capable of us, need support.

Happy Black History month in Europe! Here's a TL cleanse & an appreciation post for Black Europeans. This month's yarn & roving club colorway is called "The Persimmon Courtier" & it's based on a 17thc engraving of a Black courtier by Peter Schenk.

For every dollar we spend on SNAP we return $1.80 back in economic activity. It goes right back into the system while also ensuring kids don’t starve. It’s a win for everyone which makes sense why Trump is gutting it.

SNAP isn’t just handing out food to poor people. It’s a foundational safety net we all fund. It’s there in case life completely fucks you or any of us over. Being mad it exists just because you aren't poor right now is like yelling at the fire department for putting out your neighbor's house while yours isn't on fire.
