Great night at Stop Write Hear. We ranged from haunted pubs to female assassins to winkles in Bunsen burner incidents and back again. And Star Wars got a look in too. Thanks all. @DtonCultureVols

Are you an early-career writer in Teesside?
⬇️👀⬇️
As part of 'First Stage', a research and development project into Tees Valley playwriting provision which I’m carrying out with the support of @TeesValleyCA, I’m looking to recruit two early career Tees Valley writers for a Focus Group.
Details can be found in the image below.
ALT FIRST STAGE I am currently working on ‘First Stage’, a research project exploring Tees Valley playwriting provision which is supported by the Tees Valley Combined Authority. As part of this project, I am looking to recruit two early career Tees Valley writers for a Focus Group to be held between 10.30am-11.30am at ARC Stockton on Wednesday 10th May. The Focus Group participants will be paid £100 for their time. ‘Early career’ writers may have had short-form fiction published or a 10 minute play performed, but will be yet to publish a full-length work or have a full-length play professionally produced. For more information, or to express your interest, please contact me via Direct Message or email [email protected] Two logos: TEES VALLEY and TVCA Tees Valley Mayor
It will soon be #MayTheFourth and you know what that means. Yes it's Stop Write Hear. Writers come and share your words. Star Wars related stuff gets Star billing. @darloforculture @DtonCultureVols @Creative_Dton

Another brilliant night at the writers sharing session where our new Mic (thanks @darloforculture @Creative_Dton @DtonCultureVols ) was happy to relay an eclectic mix of poetry and prose to a keen audience. Great stuff #DarloWriters.
It's almost time for December's Stop Write Hear. Got a short story, poem, bit of memoir, whatever...if you write it, it would be great to hear it, here. And there will be a MIC
We had a great time at November's StopWriteHear in #WorkingItOut Darlo. Fab original writing- everything from remembering the dead to prescient books to river entities, to food, especially the footie match pies and quite a strong schooldays thread. Marvellous.
There was spookiness in many guises tonight @StopWriteHear1 A great night of listening to writers who can chill, amuse, move, but always captivate their audience. Thanks all. @darloforculture @DtonCultureVols @Creative_Dton
