Really enjoying this collection of vintage reviews of fan-made, UK 8-bit adventure games (mostly for the Spectrum) by @ZXadventurer! It's not a well-documented part of game industry history!

Hell, yes. I'm trying to dig out the games I wrote with it 35 years ago, to see if I can upload them...

It's nice to be missed but I've not got much to contribute these days about modern gaming. :) I mostly tweet about retro 8-bit text adventures using another Twitter account, at the moment.

1980s ZX Spectrum text adventure writer (& author) Andrew Lowe @andylowe99 was kind enough to chat to me about his Zodiac Software days, reviews from @Mike_Gerrard and being inspired by @fergusmcneill 8bitag.com/info/zodiac.html

Thrilled to be able to announce that we will be launching Broken Sword 5 on Nintendo Switch on 21st September - it really is quite a special version with nice new features. Also working hard on new project, of course!

Whatever happens for Indigogo backers, that's probably the end of the ZX Vega+ as a commercial venture now, bbc.co.uk/news/technology-45… Without the branding, there's zero chance it'll ever make it into stores and reclaim the substantial sums apparently owed to various people.

Today's Virtual Cities [unbound.com/books/virtual-ci…] update: finished the text for the Antescher (Ant Attack) entry, did some housekeeping, commented on a few illustrations, and almost finished working on the new City 17 maps.
