Buyers should still test: • Handoff custody • Temperature-data continuity • Excursion response • Route contingencies Fewer operator handoffs help. Verifiable control across the remaining points is what protects product.

Product identity is becoming customs data. From 1 Nov, low-value B2C imports into the EU require merchant and manufacturer IDs per item (plus a standardised ID where one exists). A generic description is no longer enough. The IDs have to stay accurate from the seller all the way to the declaration. Anyone already mapping this into their systems?
