Watching the trench crusade presentation at Adapticon now, and my video of course is front and center. But they decided to censor my logo! Why so afraid? Worried that if somebody watches it they will see your lying TC?

This actually IS a pretty cool little animation! SO no shade! But... I do miss the time when Warcraft had it's own style.
Horde. Alliance. War. Nov 4. Pick your side of the story and fight for your faction when WoW: Forever launches!

Boltgun 2 was fine. A run of the mill boomer shooter. But it did nothing i will remember in a week. That's the problem.
Auroch Digital is laying off around 25% of its staff. The studio says the cuts are happening because of the “turbulent and uncertain” state of the games industry, despite Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! being well received. Auroch says “development and post-launch support” for Warhammer Survivors and Boltgun 2 will continue. The studio is also asking other developers to consider hiring the people affected by the layoffs.

This is an excellent and disturbing point... This person saw nothing weird, risky, or wrong. In telling people openly, online! That they tried to groom a child via drugs... It was just a funny little story!
The reason things like this get on the game is that, among the "trans community" this happens so often that they don't even think it's a weird thing to do. Child sexual grooming is so common in that community that they don't even bat an eye, and evidently too many of them have that "experience". Cracking eggs, secretly dosing people with cross sex hormones without the parent's knowledge, and brainwashing kids... often done by a predatory adult against a minor.

This entire debacle is fascinating! Because yes! These prices are INSANE! And yes, it IS a lot of work and skill! It's also why AI will replace them. AI does it faster, cheaper, and already comparable quality. It will only get better. The 250$ per second artist. Wont.
Ex Animation Student here. People who don't understand animation think this is expensive, it is not. This artist is drawing 12 to 24 finished illustrations for 1 second of animation. So 20$ to 10$ an illustration. I'm addition, they are wearing many hats to get the final product done. In the animation industry, no one is drawing a full animation start to finish. The job is separated between; story board artists, key frame animators, filler frame animators, clean up and colorist. This person is doing every job in their service and their pay is justified.

It sold somewhere north of 2 million copies. 190-200 million in revenue on a 300 million dollars budget. It's already lost 100 Million dollars, and that's BEFORE you take into consideration licensing fees.
Marvel’s Wolverine was the HIGHEST selling game of September… it sold more than onimusha, the blood of dawnwalker and control resonant. this is a classic example of reviews not meaning SHIT, gamespot, IGN and skillup SHAT on it and still sold INSANELY well not to forget it’s 4.5/5 rating on playstation store it’s safe to say Wolverine is a HUGE success

This is old 2020's programing. Allow me to updated it. I want my games to be explicitly political. Anti-you political. I want my games to be anti-communist. Anti-LGBTQIAP. Anti-Progressive. I want burning pride flags. Hot women and nothing but short brown haired white dudes!
“We don’t want politics in our games.” No. You don’t want blacks in your games. You don’t want women who can’t sexualize in your games. You don’t want reminders that you’re not the only kind of person that exists, and other people besides those in your bubble engage in your hobby

I'll be honest. Even as loose promises. None of this sounds very interesting. --- 600 years. Everything looks the same --- Humans allied with the Batarians! --- Liara aged up even though they don't age like that. --- Andromeda... --- More romance, ye right... More GAY!
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe. Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development. • Set 600+ years after the Reaper War • You play as a customizable N7 agent • Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond • Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending • A galaxy divided into three major factions • Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together • Council races forming their own alliance • The Geth emerging as a third superpower • A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary • Geth-built megastructures • Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda • Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference • Hacking and manipulating the environment • See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more • Handcrafted missions like ME1-3 • But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them • Brutal close-range executions • Squadmates who can clash with each other • Romance wasn't being sanitised • Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist. It looked incredible. And now we may never get to play it. Find out more here: youtu.be/ZOWrTNazZxM #SaveMassEffect

The story was far too thinly spread across too many characters. Who where themselves not as charismatic as the first bunch. Still a great show, but falls short of the bar set by Edgerunners 1

This! Right here is what killed BioWare! The constant praise from the clueless made BioWare think they were doing great. Allowing them to cope and ignore cratering sales numbers. Reviews are irrelevant. SALES are everything!

Truly remarkable... It's like these people have no concept of cause and effect. Sales are shit -> costs are cut -> sales remains shit -> further costs -> nope, still shit! -> final cut of. This took 10 years! The layoffs were a result. Not a cause.
