A message from Emily, Dustin, and the Byfuglien family to you, Winnipeg 💙 I’ve been trying to find the right words to describe what this weekend meant to our family, and I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to do it justice. Winnipeg, you gave us something this weekend that I didn’t realize how much I needed. A goodbye we never really got to have. The way our chapter in Winnipeg ended wasn’t how any of us imagined it would. There were a lot of emotions, a lot left unsaid, and a goodbye that never really happened. For years, I’ve carried a little sadness about that. Not because of the hockey, but because of the people. Because Winnipeg was never just about hockey to us. It was a city that embraced our family, watched our children grow, celebrated with us, and stood behind us through so many incredible years. The friendships, the memories, the familiar faces in the stands, and the kindness we experienced are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Coming back this weekend and feeling that same love after all these years was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Every hug, every kind word, every person who stopped us to share a memory or simply say hello reminded me just how special this city and its people truly are. I know the ending was complicated. I know there were feelings on all sides. But this weekend reminded me that sometimes the love and memories you leave behind are bigger than the way a chapter ends. And maybe that’s what made this weekend so emotional. We finally got to feel the goodbye we missed, and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. To the fans who loved and supported our family for all those years, and who welcomed us back like no time had passed, thank you. You gave us more than you probably realize. Winnipeg will always hold a piece of my heart. Not because of the games, the wins, or the hockey, but because of the people who made it feel like home. Some chapters don’t end the way we hoped. But sometimes, if we’re lucky, we get one more moment to remember just how beautiful they were. Thank you, Winnipeg. For all of it. Xo

How vaccines cause cancer. Must watch.
In the 1990s, a national broadcaster aired an investigation into a monkey virus hidden in the polio vaccine given to millions of children. A researcher estimated there were "at least 26 different monkey viruses" in those vaccines. When a cancer doctor found one of them inside children's brain tumors, his words were: "I almost fell out of my chair." 🧵

When it comes to the Canadian economy, Ben Rabidoux is one of the best. He knows the data as well as anyone, speaks plainly, takes a view, and is unencumbered by corporate overloads. His views are never static, and he has the guts to admit fault if and when he errs. I cannot recommend his research enough. And, yes, sometimes, I get jealous of his charts!
Here it is: Why I think 80% odds of a BoC rate hike tomorrow is CRAZY and why I think it would be a mistake. May age like milk, but I'd love to hear the pushback to the thinking.

𝗭𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗞𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡 Zelensky desperately wants to speak with Putin. So much so that he asked Finland’s President Alexander Stubb and Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre to pass the message along. Just like in fifth grade: “Tell him I wouldn’t mind.” The northern postmen delivered the message. The conversation lasted an hour and a half. According to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, they mainly discussed trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States in Abu Dhabi. Toward the end, they also got around to Kiev’s request. Ushakov relayed Moscow’s response without any diplomatic sugarcoating: “Our chief repeated, probably for the millionth time, that if Zelensky really wants to hold direct talks, he should come to Moscow, where all the necessary conditions will be provided, including in terms of security.” The invitation has no expiration date. The address hasn’t changed. So far, nobody seems eager to take up the offer. But the funniest part came from the Europeans. Ushakov expressed surprise that the conversation had provoked “a critical reaction in a number of European countries,” calling it symptomatic. Let’s examine these symptoms. The call came from Helsinki, right during a meeting of the Nordic Council’s prime ministers. The prime ministers of Denmark and Sweden were also attending. Nobody told them anything. Mette Frederiksen openly expressed her displeasure: “This was not coordinated with any of us.” Ulf Kristersson said he hadn’t been informed either. Støre stands by his position: all the allies knew in advance. Norway’s opposition leader, Sylvi Listhaug, knew too — she had been informed earlier that day. The opposition was in the loop, but a colleague attending the very same meeting wasn’t. Apparently, reception in the conference hall was poor. Meanwhile, Rome has finally asked for someone to be appointed to speak on behalf of Europe. A very timely question in the fifth year of the war. Støre himself acknowledged that over four years, the European Union had had neither a common message nor a unified approach. The Kremlin, incidentally, agrees with Frederiksen on this point. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov clarified that the talks had been held with the leaders of two neighboring countries, not with Europe as a whole. A rare moment of unanimity. Europe desperately wants a seat at the negotiating table in Abu Dhabi. For now, it can’t even manage to agree around a single table in Helsinki. @sashakots

BREAKING: M.A.I.D. now part of DNR Orders(Do Not Resusitate) with Bill C-41... Massive outrage as Canada’s highly controversial medical updates spark absolute horror over patient safeguards. Critics are calling it an unhinged dystopia after proposals emerged that could blur the lines between standard medical care and state-sponsored life-ending procedures. Under the guise of "advanced directives," critics warn the system is opening a terrifying backdoor that effectively lets medical institutions decide if and when to end a citizen's life. Slipping lethal execution protocols into a patient’s medical chart—collapsing the line between a standard Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order and an active push for medical assistance in dying (MAID)—is a localized death sentence. Giving hospitals the bureaucratic authority to decide when someone's "quality of life" has expired is an unspeakable violation of human rights. Bill C-41 is turning hospitals from places of healing into execution chambers. This is absolute insanity. #Canada #MAID #C41 #BreakingNews #DNR #AssistedDying

Grand Chief Ed John with the First Nations Summit helped create the action plan. "What we've seen in the past in our trips to China ... is that industry groups do present in China, but they present their views and we've seen governments present their views, but there was no one out their telling our stories," he said. "Chinese authorities as well as the Chinese peoples are largely unaware of indigenous peoples, much less the rights of indigenous peoples." Mark Carney's agenda laid out for all to see. Mark Carney is one thing.....A globalist. Someone whose political and financial interests extend far beyond just Canada and politics. What if Mark Carney's time as prime minister isn't necessarily about his political career in Canada? What if becoming prime minister is an opportunity to build his résumé for something BIGGER? Like a senior leadership position within the European Union or another international institution. But before you dismiss the possibility, you have to look at his choices for Canada and relationships with Europe... which span more than a decade. Just look at the timeline.... 2013 —add a Banker September 2013. Mark Carney is elected First Vice-Chair of the European Systemic Risk Board. An official European Union institution that monitors... risks to Europe's financial system. He is now working directly within Europe's financial regulatory institutions. September 2015. As governor of the Bank of England, Carney delivers a major speech connecting... climate change with financial stability. He argues that financial institutions and INVESTORS need to account for climate risks. March 2019. Carney delivers a speech directly to the European Commission in Brussels about sustainable finance. He pushes for... financial regulations, government policies and investments supporting the transition toward green energy. August 2019 Carney discusses... a possible international digital monetary system involving multiple currencies. WHY? To REDUCE... the world's dependence on the US dollar. So this tariff dispute is much bigger than trade. Remember that, because we're going to come back to digital banking. December 2019. Carney is appointed United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance. His role includes mobilizing private investment toward international climate objectives. Look at the progression. European banking. Climate policies. International financial reform. ALL... before becoming Canada's prime minister. Brookfield August 2020. Carney joins Brookfield. Brookfield is a major international investment company involved in infrastructure, energy and other industries. And here's where the financial opportunities are enormous. It's the tool being used. It is NOT a coincidence Brookfield follows Carney around as though it has a tether attached. July 7, 2022. During an interview with TheFutureEconomy, Carney discusses the investments required to reach net zero. He estimates... $2 TRILLION in Canada. And an unbelievable... $150 TRILLION worldwide over 25 years. Now think about those numbers!! He's describing the enormous costs getting to net zero. But he also describing it...as an investment opportunity. He specifically calls it... "AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY." Think about what that means. That money could finance battery manufacturing plants, nuclear energy, electrical grids, carbon capture... and many other industries. INVESTMENTS! But companies manufacture that equipment. Companies build those facilities. Financial institutions provide the financing. And investment companies can earn SUBSTANTIAL PROFITS! Brookfield is one example of a company investing in these types of opportunities. And how GOVERNMENT policies can play an ENORMOUS role in CREATING DEMAND for those investments. Carney openly discusses the relationship between government policies, carbon pricing and private investment in that very same interview. So these ideas weren't developed... He was publicly advocating them YEARS before entering Canadian politics. September 2024. Carney begins formally advising the Liberal Party under Justin Trudeau on economic growth. March 2025. He becomes Canada's prime minister. Now, for the first time in his career, he has the authority to set national government policy as prime minister. And what happens next??? June 23, 2025. Carney meets European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa in Brussels. They announce plans for a stronger Canada-European Union partnership. WHICH INCLUDES Trade, Economic security, Climate policies, Digital cooperation. See connections??? Canada ALREADY has trade agreements with Europe and ALL 27 countries within the EU. But Carney's government is pursuing something BIGGER. Including closer partnership between Canada and Europe's carbon policies. Now fast-forward to 2026. March 2, 2026. The Government of Canada and the European Investment Bank announce a LETTER OF INTENT involving potential investments in Canada's critical minerals. And there's a very ALARMING condition in the European Investment Bank's own announcement. It says "potential projects could receive support"..."provided they serve EU strategic objectives" Those are the European Investment Bank's own words. In other words... the proposed investments must serve Europes plans...and his. That could mean access to minerals...Europe Now, Canada could also benefit through jobs, development and investment. Sound familiar???🤔 But here's the question. How much of that benefit... stays in Canada... and how much goes to Europe? Because the announcement makes something VERY clear. Europe's strategic economic interests are part of the conditions for those investments in Canada. And remember what I said earlier about the massive investment opportunities created in energy and environmental policies!!! Now the banking.. IMPORTANT September 16, 2026. Carney meets Ursula von der Leyen again. According to the Prime Minister's Office, their discussions include expanding cooperation in critical minerals, energy, digital trade... And A RED FLAG! FINANCIAL SERVICES AND PAYMENTS. Now remember what Carney was discussing back in 2019? A possible international digita currency system that could reduce dependence on the US dollar. See where the discussion is going? September 22, 2026. Now ... no coincidence...Six major Canadian banks announce they're exploring a digital banking system involving... TOKENIZED CANADIAN-DOLLAR DEPOSITS. A digital representation of money held in Canadian bank accounts. It's purpose is to make transactions faster and more efficient between Canadian banks. Eventually, the banks hope their system could connect with other institutions globally. 😉 Meanwhile, Europe is developing its own digital currency, the digital euro. Now these are NOT identical systems. BUT... WHAT IF Canada and Europe eventually develop compatible systems? Could they reduce their dependence on using US dollars for certain international transactions? YES. And remember.... Carney himself discussed reducing global dependence on the American dollar back in 2019. But international trade, digital banking and currency are increasingly connected! So.. Carney's Future...or Canada's? I say Carney's. And that brings us to the BIGGER question. What does all of this mean for Mark Carney's FUTURE? He's spent years working in European banking and international financial institutions. He's promoted climate-related investment. He's worked at Brookfield. And now, as prime minister, he's aligning Canada's economic relationships with European governments and financial institutions. Trade agreements. Investment opportunities. Critical minerals. Energy. Digital currencies Financial services. All areas where he's developed experience and international relationships throughout his career. Now here's another important detail. This is interesting.... re-election. September 2026, Carney was asked whether he intended to lead the Liberal Party into the next federal election. He was questioned more than once. He did not answer. When asked by The New York Times, his response included... "Who knows? I got to survive." But here's something interesting. Ursula von der Leyen's current European Commission term ends in 2029. Canada's next scheduled federal election is also in 2029. Coincidence? NOW... suppose Carney doesn't intend to remain in Canadian politics. Could years of relationships, international agreements and economic RELATIONSHIPS ...strengthen his qualifications and connections for a future position in Europe? Would European leaders look favourably on someone who helped strengthen their international trade and investment relationships... AND MADE THEM MONEY??🤭🤭😉 And could those accomplishments also advance his own international career? Could being Canada's prime minister become another CHECK on his international résumé? Time will tell.... But his career gives us a documented history of his relationships, statements and policies. So, is Mark Carney building a résumé for Canada's future, or is he building one for his own future in Europe? As we've all noticed over the past year....... too many coincidences with this Canadian PM who said he identifies as European. Do you see it now?

The cracks are already showing in this Canada / EU alliance before the summit even takes place. Germany, Italy, France and Greece objected to a draft EU-Canada declaration that cites Von der Leyen’s “associate membership” offer. They are the biggest members in the EU and without their support this over the top announcement tomorrow essentially means nothing. And can you guess how many Canadian news outlets are reporting on this? I’ve seen one. That’s it. The rest it’s all sunshine and lollipops.

Not so fast. Section 10.1 of the Alberta Human Rights Act allows for preferential hiring based on race, etc. Bill 33 does not repeal Section 10.1. Instead, the Bill adds a bunch of weasily prohibitions and exceptions for provincial bodies. If they meant it, they could just repeal section 10.1. And they should have invoked the Notwithstanding Clause (section 33) of the Charter. They haven't, so provincial bodies in Alberta will still be subject to section 15(1) and (2) of the Charter, which allow (and sometimes may require) reverse discrimination.
‼️NUKES FIRED!! --- Alberta just tabled Bill 33 and it NUKES DEI and wokism across the public sector. The Justice Statutes Amendment Act, 2026 (No. 2) bans preferential hiring and promotion based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other “personal characteristics” in government agencies, schools, universities, municipalities, and Crown entities. Banned outright: Ameliorative (DEI) hiring and promotion programs Mandatory training on DEI, unconscious bias, or cultural competency Any required training that dictates political, historical, or social opinions or pushes identity-based moral superiority and preferential treatment Merit is back. Ideological loyalty tests are out. This is the most BASED law of 2026!

Ottawa’s 5-year $1B school food commitment works out to $2.78 per child per school day for 400,000 kids. The cost is really $6.45 per kid due to inflation. Five years would cost $2.32B.

🚨 4 YEARS. 3 MONTHS. STILL NO MEDICAL REVIEW. I woke up paralyzed on February 22, 2022, following my Moderna COVID vaccine. I applied to Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program in July 2022. It’s now October 2026. I’m living with quadriplegia. I’ve undergone years of neurological testing, MRIs, spinal taps and hospitalizations. Despite countless follow ups, my claim STILL hasn’t received a medical assessment. I haven’t been approved. I haven’t been denied. I haven’t even been medically reviewed. Canada created a program to support people with serious vaccine injuries. So why am I still waiting more than FOUR YEARS just to have my case examined? How many more years are people with permanent disabilities supposed to wait? My name is already on my gravestone. Is that what they are hoping? @GovCanHealth @markcarney PLEASE REPOST. Canadians deserve answers.
