The problem Mark is that Democrats would do these things no matter what they think voters would feel about it. With a trifecta they know they could ram through ways to deteriorate our voting power to correct it. Even just DC/Puerto Rico as states nets them +4 Senators, not to mention house seats. That’s just the states alone without getting to all the ways they can harm election integrity. One Democrat already introduced legislation to lower the voting age to 16, and we all know why. That thinking should clue you in on where these people are at and how far they’re willing to go. Actual socialists and communists have taken over key sections of the party and with time, almost assuredly will control the majority by 2028 if they don’t already. Even if the old guard is there, these communists and socialist control the activist base that directs party priorities now. There’s no going back from that. It’s a full on crisis. Even if you dislike Trump, there’s no reasonable way to put democrats in power when you examine who they are now.
