🚨BREAKING: UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is open to slavery reparations payments
Andy Burnham is open to increasing financial assistance for Commonwealth countries to help atone for Britain’s role in the slave trade.
In a break with previous government policy he will consider demands for investment in healthcare and education from African and Caribbean countries.
He has ruled out paying a lump sum towards reparations but will offer a structured dialogue and listen to calls for development funding.
Commonwealth leaders described his openness to a formal apology as an essential first step towards a deal. No extra aid will be paid this financial year but future settlements could include taxpayer funded projects in health or education.
The UK already sends large aid packages including £75 million to Nigeria this year.

Just to clarify: BRITISH MUSLIM TRUST was the quango appointed by Labour to measure 'anti Muslim hatred'.
They claimed "EVERY 5 DAYS A MOSQUE IN UK IS ATTACKED"..
Bit weird as I am only seeing churches burning down regularly..
BUT THE STATS included ANY CRITICISM OF A MOSQUE being recorded as an attack..
So theres only ONE MOSQUE ever thats been attacked ..
Well maybe if so many Pakistani Muslim men were not targeting little WHITE girls on industrial scale spanning decades to gang rape, traffic and torture in sickening acts of depravity... and it was covered up by state with MUSLIMS & LABOUR calling that islamaphobic, perhaps the disgust by the majority towards the entire community involved would not exist...
