BTC showing cracks on the daily.
Double rejection at 87k. Large bearish RSI divergence spanning the whole move. MACD rolled over. Rising trendline lost. Structure has shifted from trending to corrective.
But a double top only exists once the neckline breaks. Until then it's a range, and price is sitting in the decision zone.
The levels, one domino at a time:
82,300 - first draw below. Holds on a daily close, the bearish case stays unconfirmed.
79,500-80,000 - only in play if 82,300 goes on a close. Measured move of the pattern.
75,700 - full reset level. Only matters if 80k fails.
Each level needs the one above to break first. Each reclaim invalidates the step below.
And the break only counts with flow behind it. Daily close under 82,300 with OI rising = fresh shorts pressing. OI dumping into the break = long liquidation, and those spring back on the sellers.
Above 87k on a daily close, the whole bearish read dies. A lean, not a religion.
Structure over speculation, every time.

Been sitting on this one for two weeks. Finally got to talk about it today with @TheKnightXBT from BTCC on the stream.
A BTCC deposit bonus turned into a 30-day live trading challenge.
Bogdan and I are trading the TMM account on camera for 30 days, our rules, our process, our journals, no hiding.
We’ll also be checking each other’s journals throughout the challenge.
This could either be a great learning experience or 30 days of getting exposed. 🫡
Let’s see. 👀
We’ve partnered with @BTCCexchange for something we’ve been building specifically for the TMM community.

I was literally writing a post warning our community to be careful, when this happened...please take your profits on the way up and stay safe out there. Greed can hurt badly!
BTC just dropped 3% in 5 minutes. ADA and many others dropped ~20%.
If your stop was still at entry, that hurt. If you'd moved it to breakeven after banking TP1, it cost you nothing.
Same trade. Different outcome. That's trade management.
WHY IT WAS SET UP TO HAPPEN:
BTC ran 24% this week, but OI fell ~14% (270K to 231K contracts)
Price up + OI down = shorts covering, not new longs
Net OI falling ≠ nothing opened. Fresh longs were built the whole way up
~$1.8B in long liquidation leverage sat below price
Thinnest liquidity window of the week
A market that ran on forced buying, with leveraged longs stacked underneath, in a thin book. It only needed a small push.
WHAT THE DATA IS SHOWING:
Funding +0.0069 = 88th percentile. Longs crowded and fragile
Leverage ratio 0.2495 = 53rd percentile. Not extreme
SOPR 0.999 — coins changing hands at break-even. Everyone who's been underwater for months just got their money back
BTC exchange balance +0.50%/30d, USDT balance −4.09%/30d. Coins arriving, dry powder leaving
Composite regime: −0.157. Neutral/Transitional
Crowded funding, not extreme leverage. Vulnerable to a shakeout rather than a full cascade — which is what we just got.
THE LESSON:
You can't control when the market does this. You can control whether it hurts you when it does.
→ Move stops as price moves your way
→ Bank at TP1. The runner is what you gamble with, not the whole position
→ Size down when volatility is up
→ A liquidity flush is not a discount. Don't add into it
75,800 is still the level that matters. Nothing invalidated yet.
Check your stops.

🚨 HIGH-IMPACT U.S. MACRO EVENTS THIS WEEK
Markets are heading into a major data week that could significantly impact the markets:
📌 MONDAY
ISM Manufacturing PMI
📌 TUESDAY
JOLTS Job Openings
📌 WEDNESDAY
ADP Employment
ISM Services PMI
Fed Beige Book
📌 THURSDAY
Initial Jobless Claims
Unit Labor Costs
Productivity Data
Multiple Fed Speakers
📌 FRIDAY (BIG ONE)
Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP)
Unemployment Rate
Average Hourly Earnings
Why this week matters:
The market is currently stuck between:
▶️ slowing economic growth
▶️ stubborn inflation
▶️ and uncertainty around future Fed policy
Strong data could push rate-cut expectations further out.
Weak data could revive recession and labor market concerns.
Expect volatility across all major risk assets.

I just shared this piece of education inside our community as part of our TMM Academy Pillar - Yesterday: whales sold 1,790 BTC net. $140M in distribution.
Today: buys 2,031 BTC vs sells 2,050 BTC. Net delta -18.4 BTC.
The sellers have almost completely stepped back.
BTC is now 23+ hours into a sideways accumulation box. Range tightening. Volume drying up. This is the pattern - happening live.
We don't guess the direction. We wait for the break, confirm the retest, then execute.

I went through the new CLARITY Act draft and compared it to the previous Senate market structure draft. The biggest change is not Bitcoin, securities law, or even the SEC vs CFTC fight. The real battleground was stablecoin yield👇
The previous draft mainly prohibited platforms from paying users yield “solely for holding” a payment stablecoin. But it still left broad room for rewards tied to ecosystem participation, liquidity provision, collateral usage, staking, governance, and platform activity. That language gave crypto companies confidence they could still build stablecoin-based incentive systems without being treated like banks.
The new draft tightens this significantly. Lawmakers added language prohibiting compensation that is “economically or functionally equivalent” to bank deposit interest. That is a major shift because regulators are now targeting the structure and effect of the reward, not just how the company labels it.
In simple terms: crypto platforms likely cannot offer a straightforward “park your USDC here and earn 5% APY” product anymore. That starts looking too similar to a traditional savings account, which banks heavily lobbied against throughout this process.
But crypto did not lose entirely.
The bill still preserves exceptions for bona fide activity-based rewards. Platforms can potentially still reward users for payments activity, settlement usage, liquidity provision, collateral deployment, governance participation, market-making, staking-related activity, and ecosystem engagement. The draft even explicitly allows rewards to consider factors like balance size, duration, and tenure, as long as they are tied to legitimate platform activity and not simply passive deposit interest.
That distinction is extremely important.
This means the US is not banning stablecoin incentives altogether. Instead, it is trying to stop stablecoin issuers and crypto platforms from functioning like unregulated banks competing directly with JPMorgan, Bank of America, and the broader deposit system.
The reason this debate became so heated is because yield-bearing stablecoins threaten the traditional banking model itself. If users can hold tokenized dollars earning Treasury-backed returns natively on-chain, commercial banks risk losing deposits at scale. That is ultimately why this section became one of the biggest sticking points delaying the bill.
The takeaway is that Washington clearly wants stablecoins integrated into the financial system, but under tightly controlled rules. The US still wants tokenized dollars to dominate globally. They just do not want crypto firms replacing banks in the process.

BTC at $71,628. Fear & Greed at 16 - Extreme Fear. Market pushed well this week but the ceiling is very real.
I'm not trying to predict where it goes. I'm trying to be ready for what it shows me.
Three things I'm watching this week:
- Whether Monday's volume confirms the weekly A setup or exposes it as a low-participation bounce.
- BTC dominance sitting at 57.2% - until that rolls over, altcoins are fighting uphill. Being selective with exposure
- Tuesday's PPI - one number could decide whether $69K holds or gets retested
Same energy as tonight. Paris-Roubaix. 257km. The Hell of the North. You don't predict the race. You train, you prepare, and you respond to what the road gives you.
Cobblestones don't care about your plan. Neither does the market.
What's on your radar heading into the week?

Big week ahead. Here is what is actually on the economic calendar that matters for crypto traders.
FOMC decision lands Wednesday morning Perth time (March 18 AWST). No rate change is expected — the Fed is holding at 3.75%. But the press conference language is everything. They are walking a tightrope between the Iran war oil shock pushing inflation higher and a weakening growth outlook.
Hawkish language on inflation = DXY pushes higher = headwind for BTC.
Dovish lean or mention of rate cuts = risk assets rally hard.
Beyond the Fed:
— DXY sitting at 100.4, multi-month highs. Watch whether it holds or rolls over.
— VIX at 27. Elevated enough to keep position sizing conservative.
— BTC has a fresh CME gap at $71,450–$72,310 from the weekend rally. That gap will get attention before we go higher.
BTC up 9.7% on the week with all timeframes aligned. But FOMC week is not the week to oversize.
