The UK’s advertising regulator has banned ads for four mobile games because they showed gameplay that players can’t actually find in the games.
The games are Farm Heroes Saga, Pixel Flow, Dark War Survival and Idle Zombie Miner.
King tried to avoid the issue by adding a “Not actual gameplay” disclaimer to its ad, but the regulator said that wasn’t enough. Dark War Survival was also criticised for using fake award badges in its ads.
