Once more, for the kids in the back, there is no "SOGI program". It's just a resource. A toolkit. That's it. It's not even mandatory, so...they're going to repeal something that was never policy to begin with. Conservatives are dumb. #bcpoli
New BC Conservative government says it will cancel and roll back housing protections and cancel SOGI programs for schools

When I see Democrats having these large venues before the midterms, and then turn around and see the Republican struggling the fill a room. I’m reminded of 2024 when Kamala was filling 2 arenas in a day, while Trump was struggling. Then Elon bought the election for him. GO VOTE.

I still can’t believe that 200,000 lefties thought that sitting out the BC election would punish the government instead of themselves! 🤦‍♀️ Sorry that the BCNDP didn’t give you everything you wanted on the backs of the taxpayers but I don’t think you did your research into the past

I call it the Trumpstein sickness. Even though people already new Trumps history he convinced people he would fix inflation/cost of living... didn't work. First, again over and over I tell people current inflation is a worldwide issue, not just one country. BC voters facing inflation decided to vote saving/protecting their wallets but I suggest the costs will be far greater with Cons destroying social programs. They voted for a party with a 'hangover' history.

We lived through this (most of us lived, anyway) once. It's unbelievable to me that BC voters had a temper tantrum and let it happen AGAIN. So, so stupid.

And the other half avoid going to hospital because they don't want to catch Covid or Flu or Measles or RSV or MRSA or get insulted about wearing their respirator masks. #COVIDISAIRBORNE #COVIDISNOTOVER

When Trump admits guilt because he can't keep a secret, believe him. When he says Elon can make one vote count as 3, believe him. He did it in 2024 and he's doing it again.

Don't forget to check your voter registration. And, if you have a problem on Election Day, ask for a provisional ballot.

Trump called Norway a shithole country because he failed to win the Noble Prize. Norway is constantly ranked as one of the happiest countries and offers it's citizens Universal Healthcare and Childcare. Unfortunately, all we offer is a President with a shithole for a mouth.

The NDP under Horgan & then Eby moved so far from its original activist roots that it's no longer inspiring. The only party that put the environment & health & climate issues ahead of gas pipelines & an infinitely "growing" polluting economy was Emily Lowan & the Green party.
Brazil Runoff Turnout 80.8% Hey BC: this is how you beat the fascists, not with 40.8% turnout.

Told you they were racists and wexit separatists. Way to go NDP supporters who stayed at home instead of voting. FFS
Holy crap, the BC Cons tried tabling a bill making a new statutory holiday called the Freedom Convoy Recognition Day (and abolishing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation).

Between the fascists, the bot armies, and AI discovering how much of our infrastructure is held together with duct tape and shitty code, I'm starting to think the apocalypse won't arrive with a bang. It'll arrive as a software update nobody fucking tested.

Hey @MarkJCarney Lula victory speech: "We had to overcome foreign interference, which we will have to regulate. We cannot have monstrously huge corporations earning millions & billions, paying no taxes to this country & trying to steer this country's election results."

This short is "wisdom" in itself in today's world. Just think if the world didn't have to spend 10s of trillions in today's dollars on the USA's endless wars to keep the Petrodollar and their military industrial complex going we too could still have nice things. Like free PS.

The onslaught of rural hospital closures will accelerate in BC after the conservatives victory. Also, I can't imagine any sane doctor would relocate to a province infested with MAGA friendly far right nutters.

Nope. We, the people of British Columbia bear that responsibility. We have voted against adopting proportional representation on THREE distinct occasions: 2005, 2009 and again in 2018 when NDP Premier Horgan appealed to us to adopt the measure.
