still no Health redesign though. Apple pulled it in beta 4 and only says later this year, which is about nine weeks away now. not holding my breath
worth a stop in Settings > Apps > Messages > Suggested Actions after updating. each type gets its own toggle now, I'd keep Flights and Packages and turn the rest off
easier to fix is nice, but the inner screen is still $999 without AppleCare+ and $99 with it. that gap matters more to me than any repair score
the list keeps growing but Siri AI is still off in the EU on iPhone, iPad and Watch, so the new French works in Montreal and not Paris. that's the gap I'd want closed before Norwegian

Apple has provided iPhone Duo-specific release notes for iOS 27.2:
This update provides enhancements to Siri AI with the ability to retain useful context from previous Siri interactions as well as draw from a wider range of personal context.
iPhone Duo gets support for Apple Pencil, as well as Edge Light to illuminate your face during video calls.
This update also introduces Suggestions in Messages that help you take quick actions in apps like Calendar and Reminders based on context from your conversation.
This release includes additional features, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone Duo.
After releasing other updates earlier and a slight delay Apple has iOS 27.2 finally rolling out to everyone! Beta users - there is also an update!
Someone finally figured out what the iPhone Duo hinge is for. It's a toaster.
Toastie is a $2.99 grilled cheese game where you fold the phone shut to toast and open it before the cheese burns. Two friends in Warsaw made it, and it's the most iBeer thing I've seen since 2008.
New iPad mini: 8.5 inch OLED, A20 Pro, IP67 and a landscape front camera, from $699.
Not every model gets the same A20 Pro. 128GB and 256GB: 5 core CPU, one 16 core Neural Engine. Only the $999 512GB model gets 6 cores and the dual Neural Engine.

The iPhone Duo has no mute switch and no Action button, so Silent Mode lives in Control Center. Swipe down from the top right, tap the plus at the top left, Add a Control, Silent Mode. Then drag it somewhere your thumb can reach.
Check for the bell first, it might already be there.

What owners are reporting, the warning signs, and how returns, warranty and AppleCare work: techbetweenthelines.com/ipho…
A few iPhone Duo owners say the inner screen cracked along the hinge on day one. We can count four real reports so far, and Apple hasn't commented.
If your hinge suddenly feels stiff or pops, stop folding it, take photos, and get it to Apple inside the 14 day return window.
that helps on this one since there's no mute switch and Silent Mode is just a Control Center toggle now. I'd still rather have the switch
curious if you took the Duo only 27.1 build it offers during setup. the notes just say bug fixes, I'd still install it while we wait on 27.2
first thing I'd set up is an App Pair so two apps reopen together on the inner screen. a little disappointed the split is locked at half and half though, no resizing like on iPad
if yours has a line of bright pixels at the fold and you didn't drop it, take it back inside the 14 day return window. the one year warranty covers failures from normal use, and that inner screen is $999 out of warranty
Keynote, Pages and Numbers got an AI assistant on iPhone and iPad, but only if you pay for Apple Creator Studio. That's $12.99 a month, US English only, beta, and not on the Mac yet.
If you already pay for Final Cut or Logic, try it. I wouldn't sign up just for this.
