✈️ Aviate 1.0 is here
The flight companion Android deserves is now available on Google Play.
That sentence took a year and a half to write...
The essentials are free, there are no ads, and Aviate Pro is optional.
A new release deserves a new home too: we also just acquired aviate.app.

Ngl it's crazy to be this big and not have a proper load balancer
Even Aviate handles this better than them 😅
Note: Tuta will be down for ~10 minutes
We need to restart the servers for updating them with a non-critical security patch. This will lead to a downtime of approx. ten minutes. You can check the availability of Tuta here: status.tuta.com
We apologize for the inconvenience and we try to keep the downtime as short as possible. Emails that arrive during the downtime will be queued and delivered later to your mailbox.
If your airline is not listed below, and you'd like for it to be added to Aviate. Please DM me and/or join our matrix room

> it went as far as adding my name in the policy page
That's because its required if you sell in the EU. Disgusting, I know.
Never let Claude run wild on the privacy policy or legal pages on your website.
Opus 5.5, and other Claude models in general, are so knee deep into moral policing it can genuinely land you in hot water.
> it will get way too specific about how your work happens internally
> it will add promises and guarantees you didn’t want enforced
> it went as far as adding my name in the policy page
> it listed out all the third party tools that we have integrated too, basically showing our entire stack
It is built to write from the customer side by default, it said so when I pressed it. Just be careful.
3 months ago, Aviate 1.0 was released.
The 3 most requested features that week:
- Import flights before 2022 (implemented in 1.1)
- Import by email (implemented in 1.5)
- More airlines in Airline Connect (in progress, look out for sneak peeks)
What do you want to see next 👀?
This did actually improve my flying experience by A LOT.

Got a cyber warning from Grok bot because I called it "Bot"
Yep, looks like it's still running Opus 😂
BTW; Please don't forget to give your thoughts on Aviate and leave a Google Play Rating 🫶

So removing the screen protector on the new apple foldable makes the crease much worse, and shows screen defects.. while removing the screen protector on a new z fold makes the crease even less visible and doesnt show any screen defects
Looks like apple has a lot to learn
Unbelievable! The iPhone Duo's display has been hiding a shocking secret!
Someone finally dared to peel off the matte film covering the iPhone Duo's display, and what they discovered was astonishing.
With the film removed, the screen underneath looks surprisingly uneven, with visible bumps, ripples, and even wrinkles!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This isn't a hidden secret: Apple has publicly confirmed the matte nano-texture layer is intentionally peelable and replaceable. Apple VP Kate Bergeron said customers can peel it off and get a new one, and Apple offers an official $19 replacement service for this exact layer. macrumors.com/2026/10/01/iph… iphoneincanada.ca/2026/10/01/app…
