Gentle reminder that the Bioware that died was nothing more than a skinwalker. I had zero confidence on the would-be new Mass Effect game.
Instead if you want to find a proper successor to Mass Effect without reanimating Bioware like an undead Skinwalker and likely facing another disappointment…
Consider these three games first two have gameplah shown already:
1. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, developed by Owlcat, Pathfinder’s devs
2. Exodus: Ex Bioware old vets who left to form their own studio
3. Fate of the Old Republic: Worked on by Casey Hudson.
Gamers deserve look forward to more promising games than whatever trash Bioware-in-name-only had been force-feeding you, especially if you loved the old Mass Effect games.

PSA for WoW Forever launch, yes have fun and enjoy yourself but do not do anything out of your normal routine. It can cause some pretty severe sudden side effects.
I saw on the news, a Ret paladin that decided he wanted to try reading a book today. He died.

I logged into retail while waiting for WoWf
I'm immediately suggested to convert a character to "Catch-up" which regears me and teleports me to Arathi Highlands where I do approximately 10 quests for Jaina and Thrall before being asked
"Would you like to continue the story, or experience player owned homes?"
I don't care about the player homes, so I pick continue the story.
I'm dropped off in Valdrakken in front of a Housing quest, with no story quests.
I complete the housing quests, abrupt end with no story redirecting me elsewhere
I go to stormwind, the Adventurer's call board is the same as its always been, so I think "guess I can just quest anywhere since it scales" so I talk to an NPC inviting me to Gilneas
I go to Gilneas and do a quest where Lillian Voss is supposed to stun elite NPCs and do a considerable amount of damage to them.
The extra action ability keeps failing, triggering cooldown with no real use.
I finish a handful of Gilnean quests before they run dry.
I got back to Valdrakken. I get a quest to fly through rings of fire on my dragon.
The entire set of rings keeps despawning in and out, like being phased
I finally finish it, my dungeon queue pops, I enter
The tank is doing 10x everyone elses damage and pulling everything so fast I cannot keep up with double blink
I cannot wait for WoW Forever lol
Blizzard calls WoW’s “spaghetti code” reputation an unfair characterization and says the engine is one of the best out there. Plus, Forever’s visual upgrades are headed to Retail. 👉 icy-veins.com/wow-forever/ne… #warcraft #midnight

As a gay man, I'll say what a lot of us are thinking.
We fought to be left alone. To marry the man we love, keep our jobs, and live a quiet life.
We won.
Then woke activists took our letters, stapled on a dozen causes we never signed up for, and started calling us bigots for saying sex is real.
That isn't our movement anymore.

No. The transatlantic slave trade was a profound evil involving European buyers, African sellers and Arab traders. Britain carried about 3 million of the 12.5 million embarked, then abolished the trade in 1807 and slavery in 1833. It compensated owners, then spent decades and huge sums running the West Africa Squadron to suppress the trade globally. Modern taxpayers share no personal guilt. Paying African governments today is neither practical nor just given Africa’s own extensive history of slavery.

1. Make a movie called Resident Evil.
2. Movie has almost no connection to Resident Evil.
3. Get angry when fans call out movie for having almost no connection to Resident Evil.
Modern filmmaking, everyone.
Zach Cregger says he was frustrated with the reaction to his Resident Evil movie because people spent too much time arguing about how different it was from the games.
“I was frustrated at the conversation around Resident Evil and how much of the conversation really didn’t have anything to do with the movie.”
People kept focusing on missing characters, changes to the lore and why the film wasn’t closer to the original games.
Cregger wanted to capture what it feels like to play Resident Evil rather than just copy the games’ story and characters.
He’s still proud of the movie, though, and says he made exactly the film he wanted.

IGN China scored Phantom Blade 0 a perfect 10/10 and provided a scathing commentary on the Western game industry
"In the foreseeable future, when Western game creators are stuck in a creative rut, held hostage by political correctness, and bound by highly industrialized commercial logic, producing one mass-produced, industrial garbage game after another , then let Chinese game creators teach them a lesson and make them relearn what a high-quality, content-rich AAA game should look like."
It's kinda hard to argue when you look at the state of the games industry. Asian games and developers look to be thriving whilst Western studios are either facing layoffs or being shut down.

A programming contractor delivered a game milestone that was broken and full of problems, when the client asked for fixes, the contractor said he couldn’t do them because he didn’t understand what he had made.
The client then discovered the milestone had been entirely vibe-coded
Even worse, the contractor had put confidential game information into the AI tool to create it, which was also a breach of confidentiality.
Video game lawyer Haley MacLean said the contractor didn’t get paid and had simply wasted the client’s time.
“Just because you can order at a restaurant doesn’t mean you’re a chef.”
MacLean says anti-AI clauses are increasingly becoming standard in game development contracts because of risks around confidentiality, copyright and ownership.

We need to have a serious conversations on what reviews are evaluating about games and who their target audience is🚀
I’m not saying the games on the left side are necessarily deserving 100%, but how did they get a 60% from Eurogamer while Dragon Age: The Veilguard got 100%?🚀
By what metric are these aspects being judged, because I’m sure as hell none of them reflect what players prioritize in games, which ultimately is audience that is supposed to read and base their decision on🤔
Two addons that could completely change World PvP in WoW Forever.
If you're planning to play World PvP in WoW Forever, there are two addons I genuinely think everyone should know about:
OVERLORD + WAR EFFORT
I've been using these during the beta, and after experiencing some incredible large-scale battles, I honestly believe these addons could play a huge role in keeping World PvP alive for years.
Here's what makes them so interesting.
1. OVERLORD – Giving World PvP a purpose
Developed by @TromaFR
Overlord turns the open world into a battlefield where Horde and Alliance have actual reasons to fight each other.
Instead of just randomly killing players, you're fighting for objectives, territory and faction dominance.
What does Overlord offer?
- Territory control and capturable objectives across Azeroth.
- Guild keeps and outposts to capture and defend.
- Player and guild PvP leaderboards.
- Honorable kill and objective tracking.
- Notifications about ongoing battles.
- Opportunities for organized, large-scale faction warfare.
Imagine your guild capturing an important objective, only for an Alliance raid to arrive and challenge you.
You call for reinforcements, other guilds join the battle, and suddenly an entire zone turns into a massive Horde vs Alliance war.
That's exactly the kind of World PvP I want to experience.
And there's more coming!
The Overlord developer is also working on a dedicated website, with plans for player and guild leaderboards and additional information.
Having an external place to follow the World PvP competition could make things even more interesting.
2. WAR EFFORT – Finding the fights
Developed by @poutinewow
While Overlord gives us reasons to fight, War Effort helps us actually find those fights.
It creates a scouting network where players can share information about enemy activity across Azeroth.
What does War Effort offer?
- Enemy group sightings displayed on the world map.
- Information about enemy locations and group sizes.
- Layer information to help players reach the action.
- Alerts about enemy activity.
- Shared scouting information between players.
- Kill-on-sight lists and scouting objectives.
- Integration with Overlord objectives.
Think about what this means for organized World PvP.
Your guild is defending an objective in Ashenvale. Suddenly, scouts report a large Alliance group moving toward your position.
You know where they're coming from, how many players have been spotted and where reinforcements are needed.
Instead of randomly searching for PvP, you're preparing for an actual battle.
That's what makes War Effort so valuable.
3. WHY THESE ADDONS WORK SO WELL TOGETHER
This is where I believe the real potential lies.
OVERLORD gives players a reason to fight.
WAR EFFORT helps players find the fight.
One creates meaningful objectives and competition.
The other helps players communicate, locate enemies and organize battles around those objectives.
And both become more valuable when more people use them.
Imagine entire guilds coordinating attacks, defending territory, tracking enemy movements and fighting for their faction across Azeroth.
That's the kind of World PvP community I'd love to see develop in WoW Forever.
4. LET'S GET THE COMMUNITY INVOLVED
Whether you're Horde or Alliance, a solo player or part of a large PvP guild, I really encourage you to give both addons a try.
The more players who participate, the more opportunities we create for large-scale battles.
And after seeing what's already possible during the beta, I genuinely think we're only getting started.
Huge respect to both developers for putting so much effort into making World PvP more enjoyable.

NOW I'M CURIOUS ABOUT YOUR OPINION.
Do you think addons like Overlord and War Effort could help keep World PvP alive long-term in WoW Forever?
And would your guild participate in organized battles over territory and objectives?
I'd love to hear what both Horde and Alliance players think.
If you know a World PvP player or guild that hasn't heard about these addons yet, share this with them.
Let's make Azeroth a proper battlefield again.
