Trinidad Chambliss chose to stay home at Ole Miss instead of following Lane Kiffin to LSU

Thinking about Lane Kiffin.
Spent December bailing on a *playoff team* and convincing everyone he *had* to go to LSU, because he could get a caliber of player there he couldn't at Ole Miss
Few months later he's pillaging NFL rosters for talent
Once a con man, always a con man

NEW: Trinidad Chambliss tells @Clowfb he considered LSU with Lane Kiffin but stayed locked in with Ole Miss🔒
“I mean, there were discussions. There were thoughts. I’m not going to lie about that because you have to understand what my circumstance was. I had just transferred here. My offensive coordinator was Coach Weis. I had just learned that system. He was leaving, and they were taking most of the offensive guys. I didn’t know who was going to be our head coach at the time. I didn’t know who was going to be the OC. There were just a lot of unknowns and question marks. So, yes, those thoughts were there, but once we went with PG (Golding), it didn’t take me too long to decide. I was all Ole Miss.”

NEW: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss to @Clowfb on Lane Kiffin's departure for LSU:
"Yeah, it was definitely a weird process, him leaving right when we were getting a chance to play for everything we had worked for, and also just because me coming from Ferris State, our coach was there for the longest and he will retire there. I guess I wasn’t used to something like that and used to that situation and how he handled it."
Chambliss later added: "No hate or any less love for Coach Kiffin. He gave me a great opportunity to come here and play football, and I’m truly grateful for that."
