In a software-defined vehicle, trust is no longer separate from the product. It is part of the product. Half of the automotive executives surveyed believe trust in digital and connected features will significantly influence which companies win or lose over the next three years. As software becomes a greater source of differentiation, safety, reliability, transparent data use and consistent digital performance become commercial issues, not simply technical or compliance issues. Until now, it was thought that the squishy, permeable skin of amphibians was unsuited for marine life because it would absorb too much salt from sea water – but a fossil found in China upends that view newscientist.com/article/259…

The shift isn't from humans to AI—it's from managing tasks to overseeing teams of agents. As agents coordinate work and increasingly prompt us only when judgment is needed, our value moves toward designing guardrails, context, and decisions. #HyperagentPartner

AI doesn’t learn facts the way humans do. It learns statistical patterns from large amounts of data and uses context to generate the most plausible response. That means output quality depends heavily on what sits underneath it. Follow @LindaGrass0 for more insights 💡

AI can warn a maintenance team that a machine may fail, but McKinsey argues that the opportunity lies in what the organization does next. A prediction is useful when it changes how maintenance is planned and carried out. That requires more than a model. Microblog by @antgrasso Suppose a warning arrives days before a possible breakdown. The repair still waits because the schedule has not changed or the required part is unavailable. The model has supplied information that the process cannot yet use. Who can act on that warning while there is still time? McKinsey estimates potential cost reductions and additional uptime across asset-heavy industries. Its analysis emphasizes redesigning the maintenance process so that insights can influence decisions and lead to timely interventions. I would put maintenance teams at the center of that redesign, giving them access to information while they are planning work and enough authority to adjust priorities. #IndustrialAI #Maintenance

We’ve optimized productivity. But are we optimizing wellbeing too? Productivity without wellbeing isn’t sustainable. A team that’s constantly exhausted won’t innovate—it will only survive. Follow @LindaGrass0 for more insights 💡

Try Grok @Bot
Baker on a16z admitted something nobody his age says out loud. 23-year-olds are more fluent in AI than he will ever be. He has been trying hard. He is still behind. Then he explained how Grok Bot leveled it. "We got Claude Code. I built some stuff, did some cool stuff. Then in 3 minutes of creating Grok Bots, I had much better versions of everything I created." Podcast summarizer. 10 seconds in Grok Bot. Substack summarizer, X summarizer, X sentiment tracker. Hours in Claude Code. 7 to 12 seconds in Grok Bot. Better. His frame: "To me, Grok Bot does feel like another ChatGPT moment." Baker runs billions. He is calling Grok Bot a category reset.

We expect you to write industry-defining and narrative-shifting pieces. You need to be a clear thinker, analytical, and a top 1% writer. It's a very demanding role, but if you enjoy writing and business, it's a dream. DM me if you are a fit ___________ A few big ideas & innovations account for the bulk of progress. In the 19th century, industrialization, evolution, electricity. In the 20th, antibiotics, information theory, the transistor, internet. The ones that will define the 21st century are being created by entrepreneurs. However, they are typically too busy to get what's in their heads onto paper. We work closely with them to help them bring ten of those ideas into the world. Identity Labs is setting the agenda in tech. Distribution carries more leverage than labor or capital. A great product is no good if nobody knows about it. It's our job to help our partners be the talk of the town in a tasteful way. We are very meticulous when deciding who to hire. Identity Labs is at the very top of the industry, and we are only 15 people. We believe our track record is singular, which we owe entirely to the quality of our team.
