Freelance designers: how long did it take from the day you started learning design to getting your first client?
If you're a designer starting to use @framer to develop your websites, I highly recommend getting familiar with the following CSS concepts:
• z-index
• overflow
• flexbox (stacks)
• positioning
They'll make your journey a lot smoother as you build!

• select the frame to export
• click on the export tab on the right sidebar and set your export parameters
Do you ever use events in Framer to trigger changes to a component?
I think I've only used them once, might do a quick tutorial on them if it's something of interest 🤔
Currently reading "Design for Hackers"
So far it seems like a really great book for web developers who want to improve their design game, especially when it comes to typography and layout.
Will report more on this once I'm done!
2️⃣ WhatFont
My go-to for finding typography info on websites. Just hover on top of some text and you'll find info on the typeface used, the color and size.

3️⃣ Go Full Page
This easy-to-use extension takes full-page screenshots of websites.
I use this every day to collect screenshots for my swipe file and as a reference for my daily copying practice.

Chrome extensions are the secret weapon for learning web design ⚔️
They help you find inspiration, learn how websites are made, and much more.
Here are my top 3 recommendations ⬇️
