Getting back to the Moon is just the beginning, it'll take a robust architecture to maintain a thriving lunar economy. 🌑 The technologies needed are already being developed and we're teaming up with @ExplrMedia to dive into some of them in this episode of #60SecTech!

The @NASAArtemis program is the flagship initiative with a series of missions that will facilitate missions into deep space—beyond the Moon and eventually to Mars. Suppliers from around the nation are dedicated to making the #Artemis missions a reality. lmt.co/3SSOmY9

We're jetting off with nuclear electric power! Our JETSON award from @AFResearchLab in partnership with @SpaceNukes and @BWXT will design a fission reactor that produces 4X the power of solar power spacecraft, helping us travel farther into deep space.

Honored to be on this journey with @NASA to land astronauts on the Moon — this time to stay. Together, we’ll be solving the boil-off problem and making LOX-LH2 a storable propellant combination, pushing forward the state of the art for all deep space missions. #Artemis #MoonToMars blueorigin.com/news/nasa-sel…

Even as a former Orion GN&C and flight software lead, the time on drogues before we deploy the reefed mains seems to take forever - from this angle the water seems to loom REALLY close!!
This is some incredible footage!

One heck of a boom! 💥 We conducted a burst test of our expandable inflatable habitat that greatly exceeded expectations, bursting at 285 psi, 6x the max operating pressure. These inflatable habitats will provide astronauts with a safe environment for work in deep space.

Exploration: the greatest team sport ever!
Splashdown of @NASA_Orion! Just amazing. So proud of everyone. A crowd of 700 @LMSpace employees and family watched live from Denver. Lots of Orion hours among these folk. So thankful. #Artemis

A really cool technology demo we did on @NASA_Orion was #Callisto from @LMSpace - a voice activated digital assistant and virtual meeting platform that can simplify tasks for @NASA_Astronauts. Highlight was turning on #PartyMode with #Alexa, alongside my friend, @HowardHuNASA.

I had a great time working with @GioBenitez to talk about @NASA_Orion and having him help test the #callisto tech demo payload!
Cool piece from @GioBenitez showing how he operated the #Callisto payload on @NASA_Orion. Thanks for coming out Gio. It was great working with you.

First - apologies for unknowingly posting a render this past week thinking it was an actual shot from #Artemis - to make up for it here’s genuine video from one of the array cameras as it swept forward to get out of the way before a burn!

Others have shared this but for that haven’t seen it - may I present the best lookin’ spacecraft cockpit since the Millennium Falcon did the Kessel Run! Snoopy in his orange spacesuit is floating down by the docking tunnel just below and right of center. #callisto

Have you asked Alexa, “Take me to the Moon” today? I just did. Go Orion! #Callisto

NASA is now eyeing the early morning of Wednesday, Nov. 16 for the #Artemis I launch. A lot of folks are anxious to get this mission underway, but a prudent move.
We're grateful to @SpaceForceDOD, @NOAA, and the @NHC_Atlantic for their valuable forecasting data as we monitor Tropical Storm Nicole. The team is preparing @NASA_SLS & @NASA_Orion for the incoming weather, & now targeting Nov 16 for #Artemis I's launch. go.nasa.gov/3G0pzwo
