We believe in building resilient health systems through smart, data-driven approaches. @NairobiCityGov, in partnership with DHPT, @Kemsa_Kenya, @inSupplyHealth, USAID Fahari ya Jamii, @Ciheb_Kenya, & @ThinkWellGlobal , conducted a week-long quantification training to strengthen the capacity of county and sub-county health officials to forecast and manage essential health commodities.
The training went beyond numbers to identify critical gaps, including those in commodity management. More importantly, we provided tools and expertise to address these challenges, ensuring Nairobi's health facilities can deliver the right products at the right time.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿?
Strengthening supply chains saves lives. Through improved inventory management, budget allocation, and continuous capacity building, Nairobi’s health department and its partners are now better prepared to meet growing healthcare demands. The 3-year Health Products and Technologies (HPT) forecasts developed will support future planning and help secure more funding. The quantification report will further protect the county’s investment in health products and ensure consistent availability and distribution.
We’re proud to contribute to a future where healthcare commodities are always available, well-managed, and effectively distributed.
